More info/vague backstory:
Has no idea of his parents, but knows his mother was a female human. She wasn't going to live to give birth to him due to how much of a toll he was taking on her body, so he had to be cut out prematurely. His mother died in this process, the pregnancy having weakened her significantly.
He grew up with a different family, who took him in instead. He didn't go outside very much, and was homeschooled. Once he reached the age of 10, though, he started working around the town to try and make more money for his family, who couldn't properly support the incredible amount of food he was eating at that point.
He came to be known as a very helpful presence after that, his size and strength making him valuable for many things people needed help with. Some people in the town looked down on him (figuratively) for his species and their dangerous reputation, but he was determined to prove that he was exactly like any other person, just larger.

All of this is 100% set in stone, but things after the age of ~16 are very subject to change depending on the roleplay. He will always be 19 in every roleplay, but by that point, his life could have changed significantly from what is seen here. Or, it may have not. It depends.
