Humanity was ruined by the virus that drive people insane turning them into killers. It was almost like the horror films people used to watch about zombies. But these aren't zombies. They are still alive. Still human and still able to think like a human. A year ago a teenage doctor, a broken carrier, two assassins, and two siblings managed to help each other survive long enough to find the cure. Unfortunatly not all of them survived to see the cure be distributed. It would seem like a happy ending but there's a few problems. To get the cure into the bloodstream of the infected you had to get close to them. And it was soon found out that some were immune to the cure. Now the question the survivors are asking is, will you help humanity fix itself? Or will you try to kill what's left.

The virus has become known locally as the kill gene. It is transfered and spread through direct skin to skin contact of the infected And takes three days on average to set in fully. It can be cured only by the cure being injected directly into true bloodstream of the strength infected and takes nearly a week to work. There for the infected are commonly put into old prison cells and such as they are undergoing effects from the cure.

The scouts are a group of people who have been given small doses of the cure until they have been rendered immune to the virus. The scouts go out and it is their job to cure the infected And kill the one who cant be cured.

Rules: you must have permission to kill somebody's character.
You can have three characters at a time
No excessive cursing
You can't op or God mod
This is humans only
You cannot call the infected zombies
You cannot try to change the plot of the stort
You must have permission to join.
Before you join please give an example of how you role play.

Name: Ollie (Oliver) James Maxwell

Age: 22

Height: 6 ft

Gender: Male

Species: Human

Infected/Scout/Survivor: Infected

Appearance;

Hair colour: dark dirty blond
eye color: moss green
Build: 184 lbs

Personality: An over enthusiastic bubbly individual and rarely gets mad. When he does its really can be quite startling. He used to enjoy watching horror films traveling and sleeping outside. He has a great distaste of confine spaces, and for reasons yet to be revealed hates to be indoors for long periods of time. His preferred weapon of choice is a knife or a traditional dagger that he keeps hidden in a sleeve that he weres beneath his shirt or jacket. His smart, vindictive and enjoys good company.

Hobbies: sketching landscapes and people
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was late in the day when he finished with his latest catch of the day. She was a nice girl. Sweet, kind, had even offered him some food and shelter as well but the urge came back. It was almost like an itch that can only be sated for only a brief time by brandishing a weapon and plunging it down into a persons neck. Watching as the light from their eyes flickers to nothing, only to know that even with some sense of satisfaction. The itch would come back. It always did.

Sitting down crossed legged while cleaning his blade with his cloth. Ollie's short messy hair was covered in dirt. His blue shirt was slightly ripped and he wore a brown jacket over top with a pair of grey jeans. He had gotten a cut across his cheek and had recently gotten a bandage around his leg because he got shot at by another infected that day. Long before he buried that pretty girls body a mile back, to were he now rested within the tree line and had set up camp. No matter. He thought pocketing his Dagger into his hidden sleeve, grabbing his old and battered sketch book to start drawing.

Sitting back against a tree, on top of a pile of torn up grass and leaves he flipped open the book and slipped out a pencil from his supply bag. Some of which he had taken from the nice girl. A couple canned goods, a small box of bandages and some painkillers.
Looking over his latest design it was of a girl with short brown hair a heart shape face, small lips and sweet almond brown eyes. Looking out into the setting sun towards an ocean line. It was the girl he met today, and though he wasn't quiet done with it. He was liking the results so far

(welcome to the ranks of the survivors Ollie and eliot But beware in a world that welcomes none.)

Name: Clarissa wlliams
Gender: female
Age: 14
Rank: carrier/scout
Personality: very caring and kind and dependent. She is constantly worried about the people around her and can't stand being alone clarissa believes nobody deserves to be hurt or killed no matter what they do or who they are. However she can be a bit emotionally unstable and has trouble calming down when she panics.
Appearance: with mud Brown eyes and black-Brown hair that goes halfway down her back She is short and thin and has rather pale lightly freckled skin.
Role-playing example: Clarissa smiled sadly while she nodded "okay. I'll stay here, but only if you promise me you'll come back and you wont be wearing any blood. Yours or their's." her voice was lighthearted but She wasnt joking at all. She meant every word she said. And with that Clarissa watched as he left.

It was autum now the leaves that i-i we the trees in the forest to the easy of the main city were all changing colors and falling into messy piles that crunched under the feet of scout patrol. Clarissa had only come with them because she knew the area well. She was glad to help in any way she could and as such she had volunteered to come with the patrol to show them where the old buildings were. It had recently been reported that there was several infected fighting for space.

Ollie hummed to himself tapping his foot to the beat of his own tune while he was sketching out his new drawing when he heard foot prints in the distance. His ears pricking from the new noise, he turns and throws his book into his pack and slipped it on. Happy to have new company but a little annoyed that it inturrupted his drawing. Ollie thought to himself brushing back his bangs from his eyes stifling a sneeze as dirt fell off his hands and onto his face.
Standing he hoisted himself up onto his feet as quietly as he could. Cursing as his steps crunch beneath the frail crackly old leaves. For once, nature was not his friend.

Moving deeper into the trees he climbed up into one so he could spy on who ever was coming without hopefully being seen. There wasn't a lot of forest in the area so hiding outside tended to be difficult but with his discomfort of being indoors for long he was going to risk. Yes it was stupid but that didn't matter to him at the moment. Climbing was his intent. and making it close to the top, getting more leaves and branches in his hair. Ollie peeked his head out far enough that he could see who was coming down the road. "As much as I want friends. They may not be safe. Well hehe. Safe for me that is." Ollie said to himself chuckling a bit anxiously.
