Lost Kindom of Ice

--- CLOSED ---

She had been twelve when her entire world had been raided by another kingdom. The girl was the eldest of her siblings, with hair as white as snow, and eyes as dark as night. She was in line as heir to the throne, but it had been taken from her.

It had been in the middle of the night when the drums went off, signaling an attack on the city, the heart of the country where magic thrived and prospered. The girl was woken by a servent, one of her personal maidens, who had picked her up out of bed and set her on the ground, throwing a black cloak over the small frame of the child. The woman grabbed the two children still in cribs on the other side of the room, the princess heirs two younger brothers, neither old enough to know what they had been born into. Or know what they would lose. The girl followed behind the woman, her eyes wide and scared. The city had wards, she knew, to keep enemies out, to protect the people. They were impossible to break.

They rushed down the stairs, heading to the nearest servants door when suddenly, someone grabbed the girls cloak, snapping her back and off her feet. The rest was a blur, hallways, hallways, hallways. Until she tossed to the ground in the throne room, her brothers thrown into her arms, both sobbing. But the servant was gone. The girl scrambled to her feet, whimpering the servants name, but only soldiers clad in dark armor surrounded her. They lined the outskirts of the throne room, and as she looked in, she saw her parents. Both soaked in blood, her mother cradled in her dead father's arms.

Everything went black.

The entire royal family had been slaughtered, and the Royal palace had been frozen in ice, impenetratable.

The girl hadn't been found, but there was no way someone like her could have survived such an attack on the kingdom. She was assumed dead.

Ten years have passed. A girl with white hair like snow, and dark eyes like the night sky pulled the hood of her cloak back as she entered a kingdom, prosperous and strong. Not the one she had and loved known long ago, no. But it brought her one step closer to that kingdom she knew and loved. They took everything from her. She was here to take it back.

If you've read this far, yay! I've been craving some fantasy and this idea was interesting. My character is the princess pressumed dead. No one knows that she is alive. No one knew she has ice powers (this is a land of magic but she was a late bloomer) so they didn't make the connection of the palace if ice to her. She was found by someone, but she was never identified, and they raised her. Now, she is on her own, and searching for revenge because she remembers.
Your character can be whatever you chose, but has to be from the opposing kingdom. Can be the Royal heir, a soldier, captain if the guard, a common thief. Whatever your heart desires.
If this is romance, MxF is preferable.

Boys Like Him Spell Trouble (MxF)

mlox replied to mlox's topic

Drama; Romance

The two girls sat at the lunch table together. It was the first day of school, their senior year. Samantha sat beside her closest friend, Veronica. The girl had raven black hair, and icy blue eyes, and a pension for trouble. They met freshmen year and stuck together since. Though they were on opposite spectrums. Sammy was the good girl, did her work, focused on school, while Veronica was the exact opposite, went to parties, and broke hearts. The room was abuzz with people talking about their summer, but she noticed her friends attention was taken by something else. The new kid. Sam looked back at Veronica, shaking her head. The new boy in their grade already fit into the popular group, already on the football team, already made his way into the every girls heart. Except Sam's. She elbowed Veronica. "Don't even think about it," she said softly. "Boys like him spell trouble." She merely smiled and looked away.

Two months later, Veronica and he were dating. Sam Didn't spend as much time with the raven haired girl, but what time she did spend with her was often in the company of him. Three months into the school year is when everything really changed. She never went looking for trouble, but she had caught his eye.

If you've read this far, that's great! If you're interested, even better. I have this character I want to use, and I've been craving a bit of drama. It's a bit of the good girl bad boy type, mixed with good girl turned bad. The new kid will be your character. Samantha is mine. Here's her bio:
www.roleplay.me/blog/136431
So, basically y/c ends up having eyes for Sammy. He's done with Veronica and looking for something new. Sammy is the good girl, a sensible person who wouldn't let her best friends boyfriend cheat on her. But this challenge just makes y/c every more interested in Sam. How will he get her? And how will he keep her from exposing him to Veronica?
I'm looking for a literate rp, 5+ lines, third person, must be ok with mature themes, and have good ideas to add to the plot. I think this could be fun if done right. It doesn't have to follow this idea exactly but you get the gist of it. Add and message me if interested!

Roadtrip (1x1)

mlox replied to mlox's topic

School is out and summer has begun, which means it's road trip time, and we'll be going across the whole U.S.
Or we can go unrealistic with them travelling across the lands/kingdom, the real world, the virtual world, the oceans, etc.
I'm looking to use either my OC Willow, Valerie, or a new character to fit the plot better.
Willow: www.roleplay.me/blog/134814
Valerie: www.roleplay.me/blog/130036

Realistic:
1. Fresh out of high school : they just finished their senior year and now have an adventure set up to spend their summer/year before going off to college going from one end of the country to the other. Making stops at big and little cities with troubles along the way.
2. Y/C is on the run, she's looking for a ride. Either she's a good cover, or she so happens to be heading in the same direction as y/c. For some reason, y/c decides to help her, despite finding out she's broke, hungry, and is lying about heading back to her family.
Fantasy:
1. Our characters are looking for an escape. It can be royal x knight/maid, best friends, mage x human, mage running into another mage on the run, whatever your heart desires.
Sci-Fi:
1. Break out : in a world where everyone seems to be stuck to their VR headsets (or if you’ve ever read Feed, then we can go more like that with people having ‘chips’ in the back of their heads that is basically the internet and all tech shoved into your brain), our characters decide to shut down. Either a decision in the VR they made together, or they run into each other by accident wandering the city. I’m thinking a sort of post-apoc scene (not zombies) but everything is overgrown and falling apart. Some people still live in this world, but it’s not a good life.
2. New World : VR has finally come around and is accessible (by the few rich/tech savvy, or the many). I’m thinking Half Prince ideas for this one where our characters team up to explore the world without knowing each other's real identities, battling and making their way to the top.

Long term, third person, at least two paragraphs. I'm not expecting novella with this because it will be fairly fast paced, but I won't do one liners, give me something to respond to.
Be able to play multiple people at once (they're going to meet lots of people). And please have your character be interesting, my characters will be teasers and they would have likewise friends for the most part. Someone to keep their attention.
18+, mature themes accepted, we can go over them as we get to it if need be.

If you've read this far, great! Read my rules, add, and then message me!

And if we’ve rp’ed before, feel free to reach out again, I’m always down to writing stories with anyone and everyone.
