Name: Hilda von Zeppelin

Biography: Born in a wealthy landed nobility family, Hilda received better education than most in the world. Her mother died giving birth to her, out of grief, her father Count von Zeppelin never had second marriage and raised Hilda as a single parent. Under his influence, Hilda was interested in military and the dream of human flight since young age, she started learning how to fight with a sword at the age of 6, before her 14th birthday she already followed her father into military campaign in several occasions as an aide-de-camp.

When she was 17, in a decisive battle her father was severely wounded in action as the army crumbles all around, in the split second before disaster, she took command and completely turns the tide of battle. After that, she was granted knighthood by the King and became a full Viscount before she can inherit her father's Count title.

She led her army into numerous victory before she faced King Kukulkan's invasion, which her army was obliterated by, mere hundreds survived. She then volunteered to join the elite task force to strike back, sought to avenge her men.

Ao quickly disassembled his tent and gathers his belongings into a military backpack--made by pre-war Chinese military, very sturdy.

He then approached the group surrounding the dead deathclaw, rehearses English phrases inside his brain trying to not sounding like a low intelligence vault dweller.

"ehh. everybody is good. i see you guys fight this monster. very good skill indeed."

Flashing lights and sirens filled the confined space within the Yangtze-31 submarine.

During his service in the submarine force, Colonel Ao had already get used to this situation. It almost gives him a sense of Deja Vu, seeing the boys running across deck, up and down the stairs, rushing to their post.

"舰长同志，我们收到格式正确的紧急行动指示(comrade captain, we have a properly formatted emergency action message)" a young lieutenant saids.

"一级警报! 一级警报!(Alert One!Alert One!)"

"就飞弹战斗位置，准备发射战略飞弹(Man battle station missile, prepare for strategic missile launch)"

Everything feels just like a drill. Authentication procedure, launch keys, tubes pressurisation, everything they had been doing for years. The Chinese Colonel knew this is the moment they all spent years preparing for--which nobody is really prepared.

Captain Zao stares at the message with a deep frown, he then pass it to Ao followed by a long, deep audible sigh, seems to expressing....sadness.

This is not a drill.

"上浮到发射深度，准备悬停(Proceed to launch depth and prepare to hover)"

Ao noticed the voice from his old friend Zao is also slightly trembling. The captain of this vessel, who always appear calm and composed. He took a deep breath and picked up the PA speaker.

"这是舰长讲话。全舰一级战备，预备发射战略飞弹……从即刻起本舰已被中央军委授权使用核武，这不是演习。(This is your captain speaking. Set condition one for strategic launch. The release of the nuclear weapon on-board this vessel had been authorised by the Central Military Commission. This is not a drill.)"

"开始点火程序(Initiating power up procedure.)" the launch officer reported.

"打开竖井门(Opening silo doors)"

The launch key was handed to him. Three keys were needed for missile launch--the captain's, the first mate's, and the commissars'.

The submarine is shivering from the missiles powering up.

"竖井门开啟，所有飞弹就绪随时可以发射，舰长同志(Silo doors opened, all missiles standby for firing sequence, comrade captain)"

".....发射所有飞弹(fire all missiles)"

On the dashboard, multiple indicator lights were being switched on one by one.

Batteries Activated, Internal Power, Guidance Go, Main Engine Start.

Lift Off.

Through the thick sound isolating material covering the submarine, the sound of thunder still arrives to the control room.

"确认导弹升空，舰长同志(Confirm missile away, comrade captain.)"

Through the periscope, one can see there are pillars of fire and smoke. This spectacular scene reminded Ao of the description in those western 'Bibles'-- pillar of fire as manifestations of the presence of the God.

It's surprisingly easy to end humanity as you know it.

That was his first thought.

"控制室，声纳室报告，方位0-3-7，美国驱逐舰接近(Conn/Sonar, Contact 0-3-7, American Destroyer approaching!)"

"拉警报!(ALARM!)"

"下潜!(DIVE!)"

Ao Fengshan woke up to find himself in the middle of nowhere. He was awaken by the sound of combat not far away, there a group of men were fighting against a dinosaurs-like creature. One they called...Deathclaw.

But before he decided to do anything, the battle was over, the big monster lie down dead.
