Edar Lightwood [Character Bio]

Edar Lightwood is Rerinde's 19 year old elvish "prince." Technically, he isn't a prince, more so a child of a wealthy family, but his wealth leads to him being treated as such. He doesn't mind to bask in the glory of his riches and the surplus of respect he receives. His home is big and fancy, sitting on the far outskirts of Rerinde, near the border of the neighboring town. Due to the home's placement, many of the residents aren't sure as to which town they belong to.
Edar quite enjoys caring for the few flowers he has on his balcony, as well as both bird and people watching. He secretly wants a pet bird, but he has no desire to mess up his home or have to clean up after the animal. He likes to cross-stitch as well, but he's never confessed that to anyone; he had never even informed his childhood best friend, Kingsly Moonflower, of such.
Edar is snarky and sarcastic, but with a slightly sweeter center. He struggles with showing affection since he never really had any growing up, not even really to Kingsly. Genuinely, he's a bit too self absorbed to be a good friend. Still, he makes an attempt, regardless of how many backhanded compliments he gives in the process.

Edar is average height, but naturally thin and a bit lanky with fair skin (with rich pink undertones that almost make it look as though he's either blushing or has a slight bit of sunburn all the time). He has short brunette hair and cold blue eyes, above the right one sits an eyebrow with a very small scar at the top that prevents growth. He likes to dress in rich blue, black, or purple clothing with golden trims, as he feels as though it boosts his "royal" status. Usually, his fancy attire consists of a blue turtleneck, dress pants (with suspenders to keep them up), an expensive-looking black jacket, and a pair of dress shoes. He identifies as biromantic asexual.
