Prompts & Plots [███████▒▒▒]

. . . ╰──╮PROMPTS╭──╯ . . .
[My role preference will be denoted in brackets, but they are not set in stone. Something I can't seem to emphasize enough, I am a fickle individual. My /preferences/ are exactly that, a pref·er·ence and are subject to change.]

1. Pride [Muse B]
Muse A is cornered by a bully, but Muse B comes to the rescue.
▹Muse A does not appreciate Muse B butting in
▹▹[/This/ idea is why I've placed this prompt as "Pride".]
▹Combine with any other prompt[s]

2. Greed [Muse A]
Muse A and Muse B are in an arranged marriage, but Muse A doesn't want to go through with it.
▹They met by chance [or not so by chance] and hit it off, later revealing B knew they were betrothed and A feels betrayed
▹Combine with any other prompt[s]

3. Lust [either]
Muse A and Muse B meet on a blind date. Muse B wants to go on another date, but Muse A isn't sure.

▹Combine with any other prompt[s]

4. Envy [either]
Muse A has something that Muse B desperately wants or needs. Muse A won't give it up easily.

▹Combine with any other prompt[s]

5. Gluttony [Muse B]
Muse A and Muse B go to a bar. Muse B gets too drunk and Muse A has to take them home.

. . . ╰──╮PLOTS╭──╯ . . .
Any suggestions to change up plots and keep them fresh [for me] are always welcome and encouraged. Want to switch roles? Just ask~
[…bit of fun. Titles given to my plots are song titles that I felt suited the spirit of the plot—so they may not readily make sense without listening to the song.]

ᴺᴼᵂ ᴾᴸᴬᵞᴵᴺᴳ : Don't Run Away
MC is a social streamer/influencer, YC is a fan who wins a contest to spend "X amount of time" with MC at some rented out resort or whatever...
The original plan had been for the fan to need a place to live and for the two to hit it off and the fan to move in with MC and basically be his /boytoy/ —blackmail, exhibition, pretty much everything would be on the table as far as depravity...doing things just out of frame while MC is streaming and stuff.
▹Details need to be fleshed out.
▹▹Species/race, world setting. Remember YC is a fan of MC...are there any traits MC should have physical or personality—should those traits turn out to be fake?
▹Twists are welcome. [Love a good "tables have turned" scenario.]
▹You need to be clear about anything that is off limits; I will do the same.
▹This /is/ intended to be a more smut heavy plot, to demonstrate how meaningless it is for MC.
▹▹Basically they /happen to have sex/ but the real focus should be on the /real feelings/ that develop. LOVE not lust is the goal of this plot.
▹▹▹ It is even encouraged that one party involved really isn't all that into the lewd activities the other is /forcing/—this is where the element of blackmail comes into play; the unwilling/reluctant party is being blackmailed/coerced into doing things.

ᴺᴼᵂ ᴾᴸᴬᵞᴵᴺᴳ : An Honest Mistake
MC is a photographer [art], YC and him had been friends /back in the day/. After seeing MCs art around and realizing MC was the artist YC reaches out and they reconnect. The content of MCs art is...disturbingly fascinating—his photos capture realistic fear and terror in his subjects. After reconnecting they hit it off and start dating—what YC does not realize [at first] is that MC is balancing their happy fluffy relationship and his dark truth...he captures such visceral emotion in his subjects because he is murdering them—his assistant [originally a ghoul] disposes of the bodies.
▹Details need to be fleshed out.
▹▹Species/race, world setting. Remember YC is an old friend of MC...are there any traits MC should have physical or personality that attracts YC to him?
▹Twists are welcome. [Love a good "tables have turned" scenario.]
▹You need to be clear about anything that is off limits; I will do the same.

ᴺᴼᵂ ᴾᴸᴬᵞᴵᴺᴳ : JUST ONE MORE KISS
[rough concept] MC is generally reclusive; agoraphobic. He is a 'dere and will use technological means to isolate YC, who he is obsessing over. Either he can /abduct/ YC or arrange for YC to move in with him—room for rent that happens to be exactly what YC is looking for, and so affordable. :D
Additionally we could go with a more corporate setting where MC is forced to go into the office rather than work from home as he always has done...
▹Details need to be fleshed out.
▹▹Species/race, world setting.
▹▹▹MC favours /manly men/ with a kind disposition and good manners...no obsessive interest in "bad boy" types; he would sooner "unalive" them. MC is originally a "vampire" but can be human, it changes nothing about him. [FtM and Masc non-binary are valid options for YC]
▹Twists are welcome. [Love a good "tables have turned" scenario.]
▹You need to be clear about anything that is off limits; I will do the same.
▹▹There WILL be gore. I have run this as only alluding to it, but I hate doing that... MC has atypical arousal; gore /is/ his "smut".
▹▹▹If you want there to be "traditional lewdness" YC will have to initiate and even force it on MC.

[Pet Sitting] MxMasc IxMasc
YC's best friend [open to other means of relation] recently started talking about some new pet they had gotten, YC has yet to see it—not even pictures. Something has come up and YC's friend has to go away [work, family, whatever] and asks YC if he would be willing to take care of this new pet for them while they are away...
Now I have two thoughts for this:
1. The pet turns out to be a person! As it turns out YC's best friend has decided to take on someone who is a "lifestyle pet".
2. The pet as it turns out /is/ the friend!
—in everything MC will not behave as a "people", 100% dedicated to his role as a pet. I am open to suggestions for what kind of animal MC is portraying and to what extent. [I am NOT into full fursuits for this, sorry, it would just be highly impractical; and I would rather just go with him being anthro.]
▹Details need to be fleshed out.
▹▹Species/race, world setting.
▹▹▹Societal dynamics.
▹Obviously we will need to discuss expectations.
▹▹I am open to how ever you decide to have YC handle the situation, but you will have to accept that there are /wrong ways/ and that is part of the fun—conflict, drama...dark themes. And as always, ideas are welcome~
▹If you are interested in swapping roles I may be willing—won't hurt to ask.

[I Need An Adult] MxMasc IxMasc
YC gets a pretty sweet job offer to be a live in nanny—it turns out that the "child" they will be caring for isn't a child at all, but a "little". An adult who prefers to live the role of a significantly younger age.
▹Details need to be fleshed out.
▹▹Species/race, world setting.
▹▹▹Societal dynamics.
▹Obviously we will need to discuss expectations...
▹▹I am comfortable with the age regression being anything from toddler to adolescent; so don't assume diapers and binkies are to be involved—it is something to be discussed.
▹▹▹Talk to me about what kind of physique you would like for MC—since it would need to be something YC is willing to deal with...otherwise, why are they sticking around? Additionally have something in mind for YC character as far as physique—age etc..
▹▹▹▹I am open to how ever you decide to have YC handle the situation, but you will have to accept that there are /wrong ways/ and that is part of the fun—conflict, drama...dark themes. And as always, ideas are welcome~
▹If you are interested in swapping roles I may be willing—won't hurt to ask.

…more to come.

A Note: I am comfortable playing characters between 18-50. This not only because I like age gaps, but because I also enjoy playing mature family dynamics and playing multiple characters.

There seems to be some confusion about the difference between a "prompt" and a "plot", why this is, I haven't a clue it is basic story writing.

Prompt means to trigger, encourage, stimulate, provoke, start off, bring about....... In this instance the prompt is to get you thinking of something to /plot/.

What does plot even mean? A plot is just the events in a story and the order in which those events are placed. The “events” are things with emotional significance that cause a reaction and response in the character—not just a hurricane, but a hurricane that threatens something/someone the character loves, therefore causing the character to make a choice about what action they will take.

… want to know more about how to plan a story?

Things important to a story: 6 tips to better writing...

Situational Setting - Scenes are always emotional moments, and your characters’ relationships to the things around them can inspire a large array of plot points.

Character - Have you ever known someone with no interests? No hobbies? No job? No relationships? No? Me, neither. That’s not how people work. The same rule applies when we craft characters. It's hard sustaining attention toward a character who does not have any /plot motivation/—consider your characters’ interests. Do they have interests? Do these interests show up in your posts? Ideally, a character’s passions can help guide you toward interesting plot moments and collisions (both positive and negative) with other characters.

World Setting - This is useful for all kinds of stories, from science fiction to realistic fiction. Mapping a neighborhood can give you many opportunities for interaction and conflict. Knowing the businesses nearby, perhaps the library, the location of the school, the community park, can give you opportunities for problems and for characters to run into each other.

Background Autonomy - When fleshing out character motivations, it can be helpful to imagine the home life of your main character/characters. Who lives in the home? Are there pets? Who shares a room? Do characters have to share a bathroom? How long have they lived there? Do they eat meals together? If so, which meals? Who prepares the meals? Once you have imagined this, try imagining a typical morning or evening for your character in this home. What happens when everyone wakes up? What are the traditions? The typical arguments? In the evening, imagine what people are doing before bed. How do they relax? Do they spend time together? Separately? Are there chores? Understanding an ordinary “baseline” day for your character will help you understand the close relationships and ordinary frictions that are, inevitably, interrupted when something “happens”—such as the inciting incident of your story.

Events - The motion in any story depends on conflict, and the easiest place to find conflict is through characters. Placing two characters in opposition to each other helps motivate both and also helps move your plot forward. The conflict can come from the main characters or outside pressures.

Reveals - Everyone has secrets. Secrets tease the reader [your writing partner]. An artful writer gives hints and clues that will leave a question in the reader’s mind that leaves them with a hunger for the answer. That secret can affect characters’ decisions and actions, and the revelation of the secret can often drive an important piece of the plot.
