- kamil wants to be a competitive swimmer, and is striving to work hard to achieve a scholarship at the 'SWIM ACADEMY' in wishore.
- kamil over-works himself easily to obtain this goal, losing touch with his friends, family and other relationships.
- he struggles with forgiving himself and not being so hard on himself as others view him as above-human or almost perfect.
- he will be more snappy or jealous, during the times he feels insecure or unsafe in his position as a 'perfect' person.
- he wants to be distracted from not feeling good enough, and usually romance or meeting friends does the trick.

family.
- krystyn adamczyk (father): supportive dad who worked his very hardest to help his son achieve what he desires in life. encouraged him to partake in sports, and taught him how to swim. he is also very fit and athletic, although has recently lost his mojo as he prefers to train his son.
- itka adamczyk (mother): equally as supportive mother. a woman who is slightly overweight, but still toned in areas. as after childbirth she never really took the time to go back to working out. she wanted to have a daughter, but did not fully mind when kamil was born. she was overjoyed by her birth and decided to treat her son in a more feminine and compassionate way. some of her stereotypically feminine habits were pushed onto him and had stuck into his routine.
- kazimierz adamczyk (uncle): known as the 'queer uncle' to kamil, an inspiration and a carefree guy with no wife or seemingly interest in women. he used to be just as athletic as his brother but after kamil grew toward his late teens, had prioritised his physical condition which was becoming worse. lived next to a lake, however his life is somewhat mysterious to kamil.

- maisie/m-z (friend/previous enemy): seventeen year old, plus-size, alternative girl who used to date kane. met through...unfortunate circumstances.
- kane (classmate/friend/possible love interest): seventeen year old, slim fat, casual-dressed guy who had caught kamil's eye. kane becomes infatuated with the life kamil has, however has severe jealousy towards him.
- leon (friend/possible love interest): eighteen year old, tall and broad, light-academia dressed guy who is quiet and soft-spoken. protective, warm, and very gentle. introverted and can be pushed around sometimes despite his appearance.
