The beast has fallen!
The morning following the death of Smaug, casually, was also the morning in which Jackil, Carlie, Tomiel and the babies were meant to leave the Halls of Thranduil.
Jackil and Carlie spoke about the whole matter and both agreed on the fact that they were in debt with Thorin and the dwarves for ensuring Carlie's safety and letting her reach Mirkwood. Had it not been for them, Jackil would probably still out there to look for her. Thus, they both think they have to help the dwarves in return, clueless of the whole situation.
Since Jackil will certainly not endanger the life of Tomiel or the two babies, before going to look for the Dwarves, he aims to portal the children to Nortrig, and leaving them to Amelis' care. But he can not open a portal anywhere, he has to find a safe spot where to do so, thus, they walk for a while along the river leading to Laketown, in order to find such spot. With the new and much strict laws introduced by Anthony after the war, the last thing Jackil can afford is that some random Orc will go through a portal opened by him and start to mess up in New Thylum.
As they reach Esgaroth though, the environment is definitely not like they expected it to be. Everything burned down and destroyed, people in despair, the huge dead dragon. It left the three of them completely stunned for some time.
Jackil, as a doctor, felt immediately the need to help as much as possible, but to do so, he has to head to Nortrig and get his bag with tools and stuff and it is exactly what he intends to do, unaware that Nortrig has a different time speed compared to Arda.
Carlie is worried sick now. The dragon was there, was alive and made a new devastation...if the dwarves indeed were into that mountain, what could possibly be of them right now? She can't help but fear the worst...though, while walking in the ruins of the town -after, of course, have a crazy reaction at the sight of Bard-, she spots Bofur, Ori, Kili and Fili on a boat, preparing to leave the town.
After parting from Jackil with the promise he will come back in minutes, she gets on their boat, preparing to leave and check with her own eyes what has happened to the rest of the Company, including her little brother she learnt to have been with the others.
This situation lowered her mood so badly...she didn't even name the babies, wanting Thorin to do it and the idea he might be dead makes her feel just so bad. She sits on the boat, curling up a little -she is not too well overall, after giving birth, but she is not paying any attention to it-, keeping silent and rather depressed.
Maedhros. He has stayed in Laketown whole time, intending to help Bard and the people of the place as much as he can. He feels the need to help, since he is desperately trying to finally feel less disgusting for all of his past deeds. He needs to feel "even" with the world, or he will never manage to find an inner balance ever again.
Naturally, he is not among the most skillfull elven healers, but he knows a thing or two he learnt from Elrond or during the First Age. And at least, he is strong, which makes him rather useful in helping to free people stuck under the rubbles of the destroyed buildings.
Bofur. His eyes widen at the arrival of Carlie, he never expected Thranduil would ever let her go, rather, he thought the elven king would use her against Thorin, to capture him back or force him to return the gems to have her released. He is also surprised to see she gave birth, but doesn't question her about it. He is still too worried and depressed as well at the thought the others might all be dead in the mountains. If so, he lost his entire family and friends at once.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the lake:
Bilbo. After it passed long enough to be 100% sure that the dragon IS dead for real, he takes Cody and rushes back to Erebor, shouting and looking just so cheerful and enthusiastic. «THE DRAGON HAS FALLED!!! THE PEOPLE OF ESGAROTH KILLED SMAUG!!» He smiles widely while shouting this.
Balin. His eyes widen and he too can't help but smile widely at this news. He thought Smaug would come back any time and kill them all, so he couldn't be any happier to hear it is dead for good. «Blessed Men! Now word will spread. Before long, every soul in Middle Earth will know the Dragon is dead!» He says with a totally joyful tone, cheering for the news with the other dwarves. There is even hope that the dwarves they left behind survived the night!

Curufin. He doesn't waste time and heads straight to Raven Hill but in a different part, not where Thorin and the others are. There are a few Orcs there and he starts to fight them.
Nolywen. She will be destroyed when she will know of Greenwood, it will be something that will hurt her very deeply.
She arrives not too long after Curufin and dismounts, starting to fight as well.
He remains behind distracted by something, a noise that coming from a room he goes to control what is but before that he enters in the room Bolg exits to the shadow and hurts him. Bolg takes him and does like Azog in that part, he is so worried and screams at the others, °You must protect my baby, he is strong, he will understand how is going this...°

He smirks when Celegorm says this, °I tell you later, brother, that words I want listen to you...° He follows Celegorm, and kills much orcs, °I think that we must remain here, the people need help.°
