Mysterious happenings.

As the children were playing in the backyard of Zhongli's residence, under the monitor of a not-very-attentive Cyno, something completely absurd happens.

Yang and WooPil have a little sort-of-squabble, which mostly consists of Yang shaking WooPil and pushing him, to get something from him.
As they both fall, a combined light spread from both their bodies and suddenly, a very strange, never-seen-before portal appears.
The portal looks square, with something that looks like a sand vortex inside of it.

Yang ends up sucked into the portal, as he was the closest, causing Cyno 400 heart attacks combined. «YANG!» he shouts, running to the mysterious portal.

Woopino Yang. He has a bit of an ass face, but he enjoys too, to make their dad proud.
«Though… if WooPil and Hoon don't win, maybe you should give them a prize too…» He'd feel kinda sorry if the other two didn't win anything, but not enough to lose on purpose and give up to a prize for himself. XD

Sao. «Foreigners are not welcome in Shiirhuang and they would find you suspicious. We are at war and can not risk spies to reach Shiirhuang.» He is just pretending not to have noticed what WooPil is, or better, what he would assume he is, since he only had one tail. He is not yet traumatized by Volp, so a fox tail doesn't awaken in him the urge to nether the child with his spear.

MORAX "Indeed...they will still receive a prize for working hard, it is only legit." Tsk, Dom had already thought about that.
"I'm sorry to disappoint you, but you are just at the very beginning of that..." At least the language got easier.

"It is perfectly understandable...even if we are merely peaceful travelers. We will avoid the area." He prefers to let Sao think they have to travel around a lot for the sake of WooPil. That's the story he made up in his mind at least. "Thank you for your advices.
How is the war going? Are you positive for the outcome?"

Woopino Yang. «All right! I can't wait to find out what prize I am going to get!» He is way too sure to win.
«Uh?? But I learnt a word! I can write with it, I am sure it's enough!» He wishes he could have done everything with a single one character. XD

Sao. He thinks that Zhongli is the son of a countryside noble who had an affair with a nimox and now needs to flee to save the children.
«Hard to tell. The balances change continuously.» He knows that his brother in Christ Edward is fighting in war.
«You should leave.» He turns around and returns to walk towards Minho.
Unless they need to meet someone else, they can head back to their time. The portal can only be seen by them, the people of the past can't end up in it by accident, but they can bring people from the past to the future, if they walk through the portal while keeping a physical contact.

MORAX "You sure don't lack confidence, Yang." He snorts.
"There are hundreds of words to learn, Yangie...you would better start to get used to the idea."

"That's how it is in war..." He says thoughtfully. "We will head our way...good luck with everything, Captain Yung." He takes the children, starting to head back towards the portal. "I was almost forgetting you have your lesson."

Woopino Yang. «Shi, but most importantly, we are late for snack. Elton won't take it easy if we miss the afternoon meal.» For real.

As they walk back into their yard, they can see that Cyno is not there anymore, but he will be back soon too. Assuming we'll ever find out whether or not Jichen is coming to the present times or not.
