Species: Cursed Spirit

Rank: Special Grade

Appearance: Slitted glowing yellow eyes, pointed ears, red markings on forehead and cheeks, reddish black horns.

Personality: Violent and psychotic like all cursed spirits, but Yoru takes special pleasure in annoying/taunting Gojo since he knows if he were to be exorcized, Rai’s life would be in danger. He uses Rai as hostage to get want he wants, but also just to f*** with Gojo, particularly when him and Rai are in the middle of an intimate moment. He would never admit it, but he loves to make Gojo flustered by saying/doing things Rai would never do. He has an insatiable bloodlust that is hard to control, but he is otherwise not super unreasonable. Yoru made a deal with Gojo that as long as he would let him run wild on other cursed spirits, that he wouldn’t hurt or kill any of his students.

Relations:
* Sukuna: Yoru is on about the same level as Sukuna in terms of strength, but he’s secretly very fearful of him. He would do almost anything to keep him from taking control of Yuji’s body. He would even help the sorcerers exorcize him if it meant he could stay in Raiden.

Strengths: Incredible strength and agility, very manipulative

Powers: Telekinesis, is able to use any of Rai's abilities

Weaknesses: Holy objects, secretly very fearful of Gojo and Sukuna,

Backstory: Yoru was the special grade cursed spirit Gojo was tasked with killing, but pawned the mission off on his boyfriend so he didn’t have to work. Raiden went with a team, but he was the only one to survive the initial attack. The battle was long and they were both evenly matched, until Rai used the last of his energy to exorcize the spirit out of its host body. Yoru is a curse that can’t sustain itself without a human host. So, it decided to take over the sorcerer when he became too weak to fight back.

Notes:
* Yoru can sometimes be seen in Rai’s reflection
* He doesn’t tend to use curse techniques, he’d much rather rip someone apart with his bare hands.
* Deal with Gojo: In exchange for sparing the lives of the students of Jujutsu high, Yoru is allowed to run rampant on other cursed spirits. This deal guarantees Rai’s health and safety.
