The trial week proceeds and he is really doing his best to make a good job. He is always punctual, is polite with the customers and does everything he is told. He is not very charismatic, though, he doesn't manage to push himself much to convince them to buy more things than they ask for. He is not a born salesman, but at least the customers aren't displeased with him.
As the days pass, a certain someone gets to find out that Leaf got a job and where and he decided to go to see for himself with a couple of his friends from the military: his ex.
Like all abusive partners, he can't really leave his ex victim alone, to rebuild a better life, for long, regardless he was the one who decided to kick Leaf away.
The three come to the store in a moment when they see only Leaf inside - although it may not be necessarily true that he is - and walk inside.
Just glancing at Kun, his ex, sends chills down Leaf's spine and he is 100% sure that they didn't come there to buy clothes. Indeed the three aren't dressed fashionably, they are all pretty big and kinda threatening in their ways.
The conversation doesn't last long and mostly consists in Kun mocking Leaf and low-key threatening to reveal the truth about his identity.
While that happens, one of the friends of Kun goes to close the door of the store, to make it look closed at a time that is definitely not normal for it to close.

"You'd better." He is not yet sure Leaf would listen to him regarding Kun. "Don't get fooled by sweet words.
Even too well, he is full of shit."
He lets out a slight smirk. "He will approve if I tell him.
Why don't you just move without paying? Does he deserve a coin of your money?"
«I won't go back to him…» He looks down. What he fears is that Kun will use his secret to force him to do things.
«Jingyuan is full of shit…?» He is not sure what he means, but guesses not the literal meaning. XD
«No, i can't do that. I must pay the rent for the past month, it's not fair otherwise… he didn't kick me out even if I couldn't pay for ages, it wouldn't be fair…»
He looks at him specifically, not very convinced.
"Not literally. What are you thinking?" Tsk, he doesn't even know the terms.
"As if he deserved you to be fair with him." He doesn't even know he rented his room or he would try to trigger him more.
«I am thinking that he has many dark secret… from.how you said it…» Or that he is a fertiliser merchant as second job.
«It will be all right… I will pay my part as we agreed and if Chongyun will accept I will move to be roommate with him…» Good luck to Jingyuan and Yanqing if it happens.
"They are not that many. He is a simple person, actually he is more like an animal.
Whatever." He looks up for a moment. "Talk to Chongyun."
