Dolf was born in the village of Arcsea, a coastal village to a fisherman. He refused to follow in his father's footsteps, he dreamed of being something great, of having some great destiny. He joined King Radovid's army as soon as he became an adult and showed that he had a talent for riding. He was promoted to Redanian Calvaryman by the time he was twenty three. It was a little over a year later when his whole troop was ambushed by a group of Temerian infantrymen laying in wait and he was the only survivor. He now travels towards his home of Arcsea, having see enough death and with survivor's guilt weighing heavy on him. He does whatever jobs he can to make enough money to eat until he can find his way home.
