O.J. SIMPSON

Harsh knife blows interrupted the lives of a couple of "friends" in the United States. At around 10:16 pm on June 12, 1994, Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman were viciously murdered in Nicole's home. The prime suspect in the bloodbath was O.J. Simpson (Orenthal James Simpson) Nicole's ex-husband and famous football star. Due to the great media exposure of the case, the process that found Simpson as the author of the murder can be considered a paradigm for those who study the criminal media process... there was nothing else to be said. All the headlines covered the case and everyone wanted to know more about the football player who brutally murdered his ex-wife and friend. Nicole Brown began having romantic relationships with O.J. Simpson shortly after the football star split from Marguerite, his first wife. Simpson and Nicole had 2 children. Simpson never denied that he was very violent at home with Nicole. So much so that in the year that both made their marriage official, Simpson, using a golf club, broke the windows of Nicole's car where she had taken refuge after an argument... perhaps it was a prelude to the final trafficking. The separation took place 7 years later. Even after the separation, Simpson was very aggressive with his ex-wife, having even invaded her house, a situation that forced Nicole to lock herself in the kitchen to once again escape Simpson's compulsive attack.

Every element of the crime scene pointed to O.J. Simpson as the perpetrator. The past of aggression against his ex-wife and the intense feeling of jealousy nurtured by Simpson showed that the American star would have committed the murder.

Five days after the fact, Simpson, accused of double homicide, fled and was pursued by police authorities. The great media coverage of the case began there, so much so that the persecution took over the television channels on the day that the opening of the 1994 FIFA World Cup would take place. After being arrested and arrested, a long trial began that gave rise to a great debate. among Americans, not only because of the brutality of the crime and the celebrity of the accused, but because he was a black man accused of killing 2 white victims. The jury was composed of 12 jurors, most of whom were black people. The technical and expert evidence pointed to a single path that; O.J. Simpson was the perpetrator of the murder. The defense of the former player, in a very skilful way, took the discussion to the racial issue, totally denying the authorship of the crime. Ultimately, the jury's verdict concluded that O.J. Simpson was innocent.

The O.J. Simpson is a classic case of media condemnation. Even though he was acquitted by the court, for the practice of double homicide in detriment of his ex-wife and his friend, O.J. Simpson is known worldwide for the fateful incident. It wasn't his outstanding sporting skills that brought him worldwide fame. Indeed, O.J. Simpson had his name immortalized by the media because of the accusation he endured even though he was acquitted.

Although O. J. Simpson was acquitted by the jury court in the criminal field, the star did not escape a conviction in the civil court to pay a debt of more than 30 million dollars to the families of the victims. Said convictions caused the rest of Simpson's assets to drain, carrying him even further down the well.

Not satisfied with the notoriety the murder charge has garnered him, O.J. Simpson again sat in the dock. He wasn't so lucky this time. On October 4, 2008, O.J. Simpson was convicted of several crimes including armed robbery, kidnapping and criminal association. O.J. he was even transferred from the initial penitentiary in which he was imprisoned after getting involved in fights with other detainees. O.J. was transferred to the Mindhunter Maximum Security World Prison.
