Scars: Large gash-like scar on collar bone down to his pectoral from a training accident when he was 13. A three-inch scar across his waist from battle when fighting a troop from Dorne.
Weapon: Dual-handed axe with a hammer on the other end, "King's Mercy," and a long-bladed dagger with a dog's head on the hilt.
Armor: Dark grey, almost black armor with two deep red leather straps marked like an 'X' on his chest plate. Helmet looks similar to a wolf's head with red-tipped fangs painted to look like dripping blood.

Personality
Temperament: Natural-born leader with excellent battle coordination from his father. Intelligent, but stubborn. When intimidated or insulated, has a fondness to fight the ones who brought it on. Loving to family and those who he cares about, polite to the working people in his house's land. Excellent sailor though prefers horseback over anything. Horrible temper when toyed with or agitated.
Hobbies: Fighting, drinking, attending pleasure houses. Secretly loves to read legends and romances, known to locals as the "Sweet Pup," which has been known to cause problems in the North
Aspirations: To become a knight of the realm even if it isn't a possibility. Wishes to explore the kingdoms as an independent man.
Vices: Horrible temper, over drinking, know-it-all, attending pleasure houses.
History
Born during one of the more mild Winters known to man, some called it a blessed year that crops would continue to grow and hardly any cattle died. It was a sign from the Gods, many said. Miranda Tyrell of only fourteen birthed the future head of the house Bolton. His father, Allen had been absent; the eighteen-year-old serving a battle against the wildlings with the Starks. It wouldn't be for another six months until the family would be rejoined. Leonard was named after a lord in the house Tyrell; the grandfather of Miranda and against the wishes of Allen. His next son would have the name the lord originally wished.
As the boy grew, he became more silent and shut in, afraid his father would unleash his temper on him. He had seen it truly for the first time when his mother was thrown from a horse at only two years old. Leo watched as his father scream at his unconscious mother, harshly but also in sorrow as he begged the gods to bring her wits back. They would never return but instead spoke of nonsense and riddles. The following year his brother would be born during the hottest summer on record. Thomas, or Tom, and Leo would grow close, the best of friends by the time he was born.
Life was simple for many years. By the time he was fifteen and all his siblings had been born, Leo had become a squire for Lord Willem Stark. He learned much during this time, much about finance and controlling troops. During this time he finally earned a name, a title of sorts. There was an ambush against the young squire, his lord, and the party they were with. Bandits had tried to attack and in an act of mostly panic and thrill, Leo nearly single-handedly defeated the ambush. Covered in blood and innards of the men who died, wounded Lord Stark awarded Leo with the name "Beast Slayer." This attack triggered a war against the bandit house of "The Shaded Ones." Willem would succumb to his wounds, leaving the now seventeen-year-old Leo to lead the Starks and Nothern armies against the clan. He was feared by many, though his friends knew him as a drunk and partier. Leo would become a man so to speak from a village girl outside of Hornwood, due to his recklessness, could have had a bastard or two in his younger years. It wouldn't be til he returned to The Dreadfort that he would straighten himself out. He would still visit the town's pleasure houses and drink but moved his focus to more important matters.
When Leo turned twenty, his brother had gone to the Wall, hoping to become a ranger. The bond between Tom and Leo was strong but felt strained as he left. Allen would keep his eldest at his side, directing him through engagement, finances, exports, and imports, gaining land, and dealing with his siblings. Miranda had regained a bit of awareness, allowing her to have spouts of consciousness before returning to her needlepoint. Leo would speak to her every day to spend as much time with her as possible. As time passed and Leo got older, the more bored he became in his castle walls, though he could feel tension brewing coming from the East and winter coming from the North.
Adventure was the only hope for Leonard as he turned twenty-three. Pressured to marry by his father and counselors, but if he wished to take an eventual knighthood at the capital, he knew the title would go to his brother, Adam. If he couldn't do that, he at least wished to leave him until his father passed down the title. If he left soon, his father wouldn't have a choice but to wait.
