Plot Idea: Born to Be Enemies (Fantasy/Romance)

The royal family of the largest nation of the continent has been a odds with the half-demons for years. So long, in fact, that half-demons are so hidden they are pretty much seen as myths. However, there are still many half-demons living normal lives hidden under the guise of being servants, merchants, and other small jobs. There are many rules to living this way. No falling in love with humans. No becoming royal servants or run for a parliament position. These rules and hundreds more were made to keep half-demons safe from the public eye and hidden. However, one young halfling is determined to become an adventurer; these powerful people go into dungeons and clear them of monsters. The dungeons were said to be made by the elder races to store their knowledge and technology, and so many can make it rich if they can become a successful enough adventurer. For this reason, she flees her home and enrolls in the best academy in the nation. She has a natural talent for magic, and as such she was accepted in with above average grades.

However, not wanting attention, she is content to hide her full skill to linger in the background of the classes, as the third prince of the nation is also enrolled. He's the third son of five sons and there were his two older and one younger sisters as well. He had a huge family, but is still a contender for the throne, as he is seen as a swordsman prodigy. Because of this, he is also extremely arrogant. As such, the halfling knows she should never try and interact with him, as it could mean her discovery as well as the rediscovery of her entire race. It could get her and all of her family killed. As such, she mostly stays out of his sights and doesn't work to achieve a whole lot. However, she is one day paired with him in a field trip to one of the most dangerous dungeons in the world. Her and two others were apart of his assigned group. The good news is the top ten floors of the dungeons had been cleared and made safe by the adventures guild. As it was almost the time for everyone's graduation from the academy and their coming-of-age, the academy wanted to show the class the top of the top.

It all went well, and the halfling didn't think she would be discovered, until suddenly the whole dungeon began to shake. The top floors that had been safe for a decade was suddenly overrun by monsters, and what ensued was a massacre of thousands of innocent lives. Even a good amount of the almost graduates didn't have the experiences or skills to fight the monsters off, and only the top students remained alive. Still, they at least thought they would be able to leave the dungeon alive, until the upper floors collapse, sending all of the students falling into the lower floors, uncleared by even master adventurers. The halfling risks her life to save the prince, and when they finally stop falling, the pair of them are stuck together in a lower floor trying to survive. Now the pair have to fight for their lives as the halfling has to hide what she is. Because....well half-demons and royalty were just born to be enemies.
