Past
Darius was born and raised in Icemeet where he trained in arena combat where some matches were on first blood, and rarely to the death. His father Fergus MacLeod was a small celebrity in the arena with a small backing. Once Darius was of fighting age he was sent to train in the arena slowly getting stronger with each win and loss alike. Once Darius was around 10 he watched a fight with his father and a man named Dearg Due who proceeded to kill Fergus. Dearg Due had a grudge against Fergus’s popularity so during a simple first blood match Dearg Due proceeded to slaughter Fergus in front of Darius's eyes. Fergus’s fighting style centered around a shield which when he died went to darius. After another 10 years of training Darius left the arena to test his strength against the world, eventually meeting Alexie in Squall’s End. Alexie wasn't strong enough to pose much of a fight in the duel with Darius but Darius was impressed and curious of the type of fighting that Alexie used. After another 5 years of traveling the world he went back to Ice Meet to claim the royal crown as he had heard of the king's death. Darius was successful in claiming the crown and now sets out to conquer his enemies, kill Dearg Due.
