Background: Brooklyn was born from Mr Henderson's previous marriage and immediately her mother didn't want her. Her father raised her as a single father for a handful of years and she was a seemingly perfectly good kid. She was a daddy's girl during her younger years but when she was 6, she had met Claudia Henderson who she seemed to really like. Of course, Claudia and her father got married within the year and got a baby brother named Dustin. She was a big sister and had to take care of him but she felt like she was always getting pushed aside because of Dustin being the baby of the family. She didn't seem to show how it affected her as she was keeping herself away from her house to push away her feelings. She stayed with her friends Jonathan and Nancy frequently as she felt more like part of their families than her own. She was a wonderful student for the most part but she was soon acting out when in high school as she was sick of how Dustin was still the special baby. She hated it and she lashed out by partying and rebelling from her family. But when the monsters started to come out in Hawkins, she was quick to protect her brother and his friends as she was to keep them safe being kind of like a babysitter for them. But she is quick to throw down when standing up for her brother when the monsters aren't around as she still loves her brother and got close to him.
