Poems for the envying.


-Delighted by the one I 'Slighted'-

There once was a boy with honor, his pride never faultered.

Then there was the girl of emotion, who made sure her words weren't just a passed notion.

They thought they could be friends until the end of time.

Yet I'll tell you the truth in this rhyme:

She was a beast, despite her best efforts. Trampling those even when she didn't mean to.

He was a coward behind his pride. Hiding or running to find someone to lean into.

They were a match made in hell, now no one can hear them yell.

No matter how loud they cried, or what tactics they tried.

Soon they went back to their lives without eachother:

His in wonderland of lies and broken trust

And with her constantly fighting the beastly lust.

Just because you think you can run and hide, doesn't mean your words will ever leave the other's side.
