After the shock, his absolute priority should have been to head to his lab to study XinLan's blood and find the cause of the seizure. The problem was that he himself was way too unstable to focus on something and didn't manage to leave his son's side.
He remained next to him for the whole night, as a precaution in case another seizure could occur. These things can be unpredictable and he knows well.

The night proceeded smoothly and without further accidents. He didn't sleep much, as he was too worried. In situations like these, he can't help but feel responsible, considering it as a negligence from his side. What does he have so much knowledge and skills for, if he can't make sure his children will be safe from these events?

He walks out of XinLan's bedroom in the morning and heads straight to the kitchen. He has already a number of theories on what could have caused the seizure and since it will take some hours to get the results from the blood samples, he wants to put a remedy to what he considers the most likely option.
He starts to take out stuff from the pantry.

Shiinden is certainly the best. The tournament could turn out more interesting if it wasn't about Sects but about knights part of different Houses.

Coconut He nods. "I'm sure we can turn it into something useful, without triggering too much pride and competition, to make it a pleasant event. The training arena will be surely open for everyone before the official tournaments.
