Muse A has always been quiet, insecure, and reserved so when an outgoing and cheery Muse B shows up, they light up Muse A's life. The unexpected couple gets together and they live happily with each other. Everything is great! Until...

❝ Call me crying, all by yourself, Saying that you kissed somebody else. ❞
❝ But it didn't mean nothing, No. No, it never means nothing ❞

Muse B is a vibrant, lively person who goes to parties. Muse A prefers not to go and stays home. One night, Muse B gets drunk and accidentally kisses someone who looked like Muse A. Once they realize that it's not Muse A, they panic and run out, crying. Feeling terrible, they call Muse A to confess what happened, insisting it was a mistake.

❝ Are we together? Are we undone? ❞

Remember when I said, Muse A is insecure. Well, they still are. Muse A felt like they didn't deserve Muse B, that they were only with Muse A for pity or some prank so when this happens, they start panicking. Has everything been a lie? Was this part of their plan? They're not sure what to make of it.

❝ Thought we were forever, but maybe we're not ❞

But that's not it at all. Muse B truly loves Muse A and wants to be with them and only them. They want to stay with Muse A. But Muse A still has doubts.


❝ Your words hurt like hell ❞

They remain together but there's a strain on their relationship. Muse A doesn't talk much with Muse B anymore and says hurtful things to them, using Muse B cheating as an excuse.

❝ I know I f***ed up a couple times ❞

Muse B can't take it. They know they messed up but they took responsibility and they have been trying to make it better. It doesn't give Muse A an excuse to be a complete prick to them.

❝ Tell me it's over. Tell me it's done. ❞

Muse A is begging Muse B to just confess that they don't truly love them so they could leave. Muse A has no hope and doesn't believe Muse B loves them so they want to leave so Muse B can be with someone they truly love.

❝ Tell me you love me, that I'm the one. Tell me where your heart lies ❞

Muse B keeps trying to convince Muse A that they love them but Muse B can’t help but feel that maybe Muse A just doesn’t love them anymore and is using this as an excuse to leave.

❝ Just tell me! ❞

Basically, Muse B “cheats” on Muse A by accident and it puts a big strain on their relationship. Muse A is thinking maybe they just weren’t meant to be and Muse B is wondering if Muse A just doesn’t love them. They both don’t want to leave the relationship but wonder if it would be better for the other person if they did leave. Basically, they really need to talk it out but Muse A never wants to. Muse B is trying their hardest to get something out of Muse A since Muse A turned cold and expressionless/emotionless.
