Luck seems to be on their side, since almost as soon as they step in Hanyang, not just they don't find much security at the gates, nor many people in the streets, but a big crowd gathered around the centre of the city leads them straight to the answer they needed, on whether they were in the right time and place.

As they step through the crowd, they can clearly see what's going on: an execution, typical 'show' in Joseon style.
The victim, a young man. Very young, on his teens, looking eerily similar to NamSeon and ChangMi, but naturally it's neither of them.

Although executions are one popular entertainment, the real star of the show is the kid in undergarments making a mess. He is tied and still two guards are needed to restrain him.
He is screaming threats towards the executioners, unsettling stuff like that he'll get their baby children eaten and rip their whole families to pieces with bare hands. Threats that coming from the mouth of a 9 year old can only either sound creepy af or laughable, but when the kid in question is the actual Crown Prince and heir to the throne, son of an old King, well... it gives the executioners some hesitation.

The 'Min Yoongi' to be-executed looks totally resigned to the fact, and by his appearance it's clear he was tortured to force a confession.
With the order of the guards restraining the kid, the executioners finally move, decapitating the unfortunate boy.

At that point, it falls the silence.

The 'kid' shuts his eyes but doesn't cry nor anything. He just stops struggling.

Soon enough, the guards drag the kid away, back to the Palace, while the crowd starts to disperse.

Oold "Good for you if you don't know. It would certainly disappoint you." She gives for granted anything will just turn disappointing.

He looks at Zhan as he returns, tilting his head. "Let's hope the KoZ won't go rampage in there and make a massacre. I've been a damn ass cat for long enough." If QinShi had not died, he wouldn't even consider turning back to his original form.

Everyone wears the uniforms, except from Louis.

"Are you ready then? You aren't going there to find husbands, you don't need to make yourself too pretty, Zhan."

Oold "You don't care and it would indeed be a waste of time now, so avoid.
So to speak, ye." She shrugs. She didn't even teach them briscola yet. They will have lots of vegetables to cut, to begin with.
"I think so. If he is like the one I remember, he hates his family really, really bad. Considering what we saw, I doubt he is enjoying his time."
She gives Zhan a glance. "No massacres. Avoid that kind of trouble at any cost."

Zhan wears his uniform but it is clearly a little tight for him, particularly in length. "Ready. And I won't make massacres."

Tighnari "You worry so much for me, it melts my heart." He makes the heart shape with hands.
"The main problems when they fill kids with all that hate is that they end up a little unapproachable. And considering it seems like you don't want to just slam him into a sack and teleport out, do you have a good strategy on how to approach him?" Because himself totally sucks at this and would rather opt for the sack.

She gives Zhan a glance. "Or ridiculous. They are not going to a fashion show though and this is Joseon, there is not a style that could be sexy."
