History: In a Goliath tribe, when the winter hits hard enough that the stocks of food run out, the animals to hunt are no where to find, and there is no village or city to plunder, cannibalism is the last resort. The one who is eaten is usually the oldest female, followed by the oldest male.

And thus, a few winters ago, Va'Shiira was literally on the chopping block. Having led the tribe for a good four years, she was suddenly the one to sacrifice herself for the good of the tribe. But she did not want to die yet. Not outside of glorious combat, so she ran. And she ran far. From the Northern most province, to the first city, and eventually down to the plains beyond, where she now is a mercenary or adventurer for hire.
