First all that coldness and cruelty, then all the softness, the promises, 'will you come back to my quarters', 'my life is empty without you' etc, then two days later he opens the harem selections?

He slightly jumps and makes a step back, raising both his hands when HyunKi says that. "I know, Commandant, I wouldn't dare..." He sure doesn't want anyone to get the wrong thoughts...

Slyflake She nods at his words. "What is your favorite flower? And colour?"
She blinks at his words and also gives a glance at HyunKi, not knowing. "I don't think! They probably become so, after years in the Palace..." It is a specific only for Commandants indeed.
She looks at HyunKi, shaking her head. "He did not! Stop being strict!"

Grandpy "Forget-me-not is my favourite flower. I love their scent and use it to make my own perfumes." Yes, he makes his own perfumes and soaps. "While my favourite colour is... pink!" Pointing at his own hair, that is that way because he dyes it, not because of the disease.
"How so? Life in the Palace seems so mysterious and fascinating!" Poor innocent fool.

Grandpy "Ye, I'm fairly good with alchemy, mama!" he says a little proudly. He can't help it, he enjoys being good at things.
