Welcome Home (Feat. @Warp, @Photokinetic)

*Wanda had wanted to make sure everything was perfect for tonight. And it seemed like everything was: the twins were miraculously behaving like angels--no doubt planning to cause mischief later when everyone's backs were turned--she was going through all her housework with ease, and dinner had been placed in the oven long ago, ready to be taken out any minute now.*

*She and Donovan had been discussing the newest student she had started to mentor: Zach. She had told him she was concerned about him and how things would be handled if and when the government found out that not only was he a powerful ex-HYDRA experiment, he was also not a citizen. So they came up with a plan that was being set in place at this very moment.*

*She had given Zach her home address and invited him over to dinner. Any minute now she was expecting a knock on the door to let her know he was here. She was in the process of setting the table when she heard a knock on the door. She looked up, a grin on her face, as she called out* "Dear, can you come finish setting the table, please? I'll get the door."

*She placed a kiss on his cheek as he walked by her.* "We're doing a good thing here. I really do hope he says yes." *Then she went to the door and opened it, first greeting Zach with a hug.* "Zach, it's so good to see you again. Come in, dinner's almost ready!"

ScarletWarrior "Please, dear, there's no need for formalities right now. Just Wanda will be fine." *She smiled, closing the door behind Zach.* "I would love to hear what you've been learning. First, though, let me introduce you to my husband."

*She led him to the kitchen where Donovan was, gesturing to him.* "Zach, this is Donovan, a psychologist and a master of photokinetic manipulation." *She then smiled and gestured to Zach.* "Don, this is Zach, my newest pupil and controller of reality manipulation, who's been doing extremely well since we've started training."

*While they said their introductions, she checked on dinner and pulled it out of the oven, chicken seasoned with lemon herbs and pepper, baked potatoes, and fresh rolls. She placed the pan on top of the stove.* "Alright, dinner is ready. I'll go get the twins and you two can start to get your plates. I'll be down in a minute."

*She left the room to go upstairs to get the toddlers from their playroom, making sure they're ready for dinner.*

ScarletWarrior *Wanda came into the playroom where the twins were, rounding them up from the exciting game of their invention called "Who Can Cause the Most Damage With Their Powers." (It took no time at all for her and Donovan to work on spells to weave around each room of the new house to keep whatever happened inside their respective rooms.)*

*As she was ushering them out of the room and to the bathroom to wash their hands, she paused for a brief moment, her magical wards picking up.../something./ She first reached out mentally for another mind as she helped the boys turn on the water and get soap. Finding nothing, she glanced out to the hallway, a quick scan of her eyes seeing if there was something.*

*Nothing. Probably was something from her imagination. No big deal.*

*Once their hands were washed, she brought them downstairs and to the kitchen with the others.* "Zach, I'd also like you to meet our kids: this is Billy and Tommy." *She raised an eyebrow as the two made a beeline to the kid's table in the corner, babbling about food and how hungry they were. She smirked, amused.* "They're hungry so I wouldn't expect much conversation from them at the moment."

*She went to the microwave where not too long ago she had heated up some leftover macaroni and cheese from lunch in two bowls, now letting them cool a tiny bit. She took them out, giving them to the kids so they could eat.*

"What would everyone like to drink?" *She opened the cupboard to bring out cups for everyone, filling two no-spill cups with milk and also giving those to the twins.*
