He suddenly appears in Chan's place, well, not exactly his real form, just something like an illusion of him.
To confirm that he is the most social god, he is the one personally giving news rather than just sending some Zimox to do the job.

And the news he has to give will probably displease some of the demigods, but it's not like they can do anything about it.
He gathers all the demigods and tells them that Gurax is no longer a threat they have to worry about.
He is a bit vague on the details on how it is so, for those who dare to question a god, but he assures them that they won't have to worry about that entity any further.

He also tells them that even if the situation solved, they are still obligated to train and learn, because more threats will come that only them will be able to solve.
He adds that they will start to have some kind of tests too, after a while of their training. Tests that even Morax and Ziqun will have to undergo, serious stuff like defeating big bosses and clear "domains" in a special dimension that will host these tests.
They have the right to visit the halls too, when they want, they have even the right to live in their Divine parent's domain, if they desire to.

The place is located in Suhyen and it's not very huge. It's in the middle of the city and surrounded by walls, like any luxurious place. It's practically impossible to climb over without someone to see. They risk someone to call the guards even before they manage to break inside. But unless they have the authority to arrest Admiral NiaN, they will have to take him quietly and without causing a commotion.

The admiral has several armed men to protect his place. Nothing unusual for nobles, who often even have their own militias, but a fight in the middle of a crowded street can definitely be problematic. They don't even know on which side the Empress is, at this point, since nobody went to meet her, in the end.

Like literally every great janitor in the universe, he doesn't raise a finger for the entire work time except for two things, or maybe three: making pervy jokes, opening and closing the school.

After a hard day of sitting by his desk, he finally lifts his sacred ass to give a quick check to the building before closing everything for the night.
As he goes into the library, though, he finds a kid asleep on a book.
He approaches to wake him up and tell him that it's time to go home, as the school is closing, and accompanies him to the exit.
He returns to finish the check and prepares to leave, but when he returns to the exit, he sees that the kid is still there and hesitating to walk out.

Everything goes wrong.

Maybe they underestimated their enemy too much, or Xie overestimated himself. Haipa Sect knew exactly what was coming and in the previous attacks they also learnt a thing or two about their enemies. And they are cunning, cold and calculating.
Another thing Hai clan is very familiar with is Xie's powers and weaknesses and they didn't miss a chance to pressure him just right.
In addition to that, their Stronghold is almost impenetrable, not just because of the powerful illusions and curses all over. It's worse than a maze, full of traps and enemies coming out of nowhere and disappearing again.

The outcome was so tragic that Xie was forced to order retreat. He himself got badly injured because of the mired attacks on him, to force him to defend himself and counter attack, just so that his own strange curse would weaken and harm him the best.
Even while escaping many Knights died and in the end, really few people managed to make it out of there.
They hurry to the camp just to take what they can and warn who is there to leave together, then they do all that is needed to regroup with the others.

When they reach Dragon's Nest, he is unconscious but he is not bleeding anymore and all his wounds are already healed on their own.

It wasn't just a few centuries before the current date that he woke up in the world, with no memory or understanding of what could have happened to him. He was already a fully grown person, but knew nothing. He already had some extraordinary powers and knew how to speak the language of the Sect people.

He was found by the Qi Clan leader, of the YunQi Sect and taken to his refuge, Fox's Burrows.
He was treated well, he joined their Sect at first, although his powers were not compatible with those of the other adepts.
He was often suggested to keep his skills secret and never use them, by the clan leader, but since he couldn't defend himself in any other way, he was often forced to.

Over 1200 years from the current time, a massive war among the Sects started. It lasted several centuries and resulted in the destruction of many sects. During that rough period, his powers became publicly known and he was literally begged to use them for the greater good. He participated in many battles and annihilated the opponents, but due to the fact his heart corrupting magic can be difficult to control, he also ended up accidentally harming people on his same side, which at first was tolerated. His powers gave a too big advantage to stop using them for just a few casualties, many more would die in a battle without him.
In few years, his powers helped to bring the wars to an end.
*Not all the fighting sects got destroyed, some were allowed to surrender.*

But the celebrations towards him didn't last for long.
Many wanted to use him for their own purposes or get their hands on his powers. He kept being questioned, framed and blamed for all sort of things, just to try to force him to reveal his secrets or offer his powers to a new master.
He never accepted and nobody ever believed that he really didn't know anything about the source of his uncommon powers. Soon enough, not even his closest person, QI XuanYu, defended him anymore.
Some people tried to stand on his side, but everything only turned out to be even worse.

A lot of good people got framed or accused of treason for taking his side and trying to defend him in front of the injustices he was going through, which resulted in a lot of unfair judgement and deaths too.
Xie and the few people loyal to him tried to escape and be by themselves, but of course the other Sects wouldn't let them be, they wanted Xie at all costs, but in truth, it was the Hori Sect that wanted him the most and not surprisingly, the clans that were the most fierce in the matter were the Hai and Zhi.

Eventually, he and his people got caught. He never knew for sure what was of his friends. He just know that his life turned into a hell of dungeons and escaping from a place to another.
After his final attempt to disappear, he got surrounded by people from Fuchou and YunQi Sects and got sealed in that cave. It was XuanYu's sword that was used for the ritual and him who stabbed Xie with it.

Xie didn't sleep for only one century, as he says, but at least 7 centuries.
