Nikito Hurigashi comes from a small village between the two mountain ranges of Mount Sagiri and Kumotori with two older brothers, her mother and father. When she was thirteen, she had been chosen by the town's healer to learn the trade and become the next healer before the deaths of her friend's family, as well as hers with a demon attack that happened one night while she was still stuck in town when night had fallen.<br><br>
She would have travelled, having heard of an old man who took in orphans and would train them for the fighting demons. Two years, trying to prove she was worthy, and Mr. Urokodaki refused to send her for Final Selection, which was the ultimate test to see if she had the skills to fight demons and struggling to perform most of the Water breathing techniques, minus the third and fifth forms, she would end up sneaking off against his wishes, to go to Final Selection. She had cut her boulder in half, and yet he felt she wasn't ready. Nikito would face the time getting back to the Wisteria line after heading into the Demon's breeding grounds fighting less powerful demons, and keeping far far away from that hand demon whom she had caught a whiff from and was disgusted while it ate one of the other students there.<br><br>
Here, she would have gotten her Nichirin sword, which turned to a light green, according to her Swordssmith, was odd for a water-breather to have. Assuming this was her fate as a cruddy swordwielder, she would focus her training as Mizunoto, as well as helping her fellow demon slayers with on the spot medical treatment when the Kakushi were not present to administer any medical attention to those who need it. <br><br>
Abilities<br>
-Healer abilities with the year's worth of training with her hometown's healer, before becoming a Demon Slayer. <br>
-Compassion- She has a gut instinct to knowing when one has compassion, but except for her meeting with Nezuko, and her being a demon, Nikito has never met a demon who had an ounce of compassion in their demon form, and felt that the reason more of the demons were as wicked as they could be and could be cruel was because their lives before their transformation were without compassion. It would become more true to her when it comes to the Entertainment District Arc with Daki and her brother.<br><br>
Life Breathing<br><br>
(This is completely OC and if it don't work, might keep it where she just learns Flame Breathing instead)
During the events of the Mugen Train Arc, Nikito would have gone through the same thing as the others, with having happy dreams, but even in her dream-like state, she could sense something that was lacking, like mercy or compassion that when it came to Nezuko waking her up, she was able to come to and help with keeping the passengers on the train cars protected.<br><br>
With having been getting some training from a Hashira, she would watch in horror as Akaza and Kyojuro fought, seeing so much flashing before her eyes, she would feel utterly worthless as a Demon slayer, that when Tanjiro went over to throw his Katana at Akaza, she would have struggled to get to her feet and move towards the Hashira, bloodied and most likely to die, that she discovered in her self-wallowing, she had found a new breathing technique, as she was able to heal much of Kyojuro's wounds, but not heal any broken bones.<br><br>

3) Moonlight Scorching (work in progress, but basically she can use the reflection of the moon, as it wouldn't be known until the sciences were more advanced that moonlight is literally the light from the sun bouncing off the surface of the moon towards Earth)<br>

Appearance:<br><br> Nikito has black hair with hazel eyes, she is short, like an inch shorter than Kanao, but her hair is normally tied in a single braid. She wears the male Demon Slayer uniform, only because she feels like she doesn't need to worry about certain things being shown while she fights. And the freedom of the bottoms help her stay warm when she is unlucky with finding a place to sleep for the night. She does have a scar from when she was a young girl on her left thigh when she fell onto the kettle, tumbling from her older brother's shoulders in a laughing fit.
