Someone.
He has always waken up very early in the morning and it's no difference now that he is staying by WonPil. He adores children and being there to help with the babies is not a burden in any way, as long as he doesn't have to set a foot close to the village or any Xuanghen city. In other words, it's all right as long as he is inside WonPil's property.
Beside helping with the babies, he also tends to the garden. The made-fertile sand counts a few fruit trees and bushes, plus a variety of vegetable plants and roots, that not just are very high quality, they also produce more products and more often during the year, than any average plant - thanks to the natural magic WeiLin imbued the area around WonPil's house with.
It's around 5 am. He woke up, washed and dressed already. He heads to the kitchen, where he finds WonPil, sat by the counter, drinking from a bottle.
«Good morning», ZhuShen says, approaching him further.
WonPil jumps, like startled, and moves his gaze towards him. «Morning… you woke up already…»
«Have you slept at all? It doesn't look like you did.»
The other sighs and rubs his eyes, shaking his head.
«The babies kept you awake?» ZhuShen sits next to him and places a hand on his shoulder, doubting that the problem were the babies. They have alcohol in Woodland Cascades, so he knows that what he is drinking at 5 am isn't fresh water or transparent tea.
«I… couldn't fall asleep. Not a big deal. I should… should get started and prepare breakfast…» WonPil clumsily stands up and so does ZhuShen.
«You should not. You look unwell, not just physically exhausted. Your mind needs some rest too.»
«It is nothing, really… I just had a bad day…»
«If yesterday was a bad day, then we should make today an especially good one.»
WonPil nods, not looking very convincing, then approaches the stove.
«Why don't you go to rest, instead? Your children can have fresh fruit for breakfast.»
«I will cook something for them first…»
ZhuShen pulls him back and hugs him. «You don't need to pretend, with your family…»
To that, WonPil bursts in tears. He doesn't say anything, but just remains in ZhuShen's arms, sobbing.
«Today will be better… and tomorrow too. I promise», murmurs ZhuShen, while gently patting his cousin's back.
«It won't… it can only get worse», sobs WonPil. «It has only and always been getting worse my whole life… if I get something, it's only so that it can be taken away from me after a bit… having nothing is better than having something just so that it could be taken away…»
«You are not alone. We will not let you be by yourself anymore. Your children and everyone around you is too young, but I am not. You can tell me what troubles you and I will be able to advice you, without feeling burdened. I am here for you and through me, Clan Leader too.»
«What will I do if Momo is sick…?»
«We will do everything that is in our powers to make her healthy.»
«And if she dies?» cries WonPil, even more desperately.
«She will not die. We will not let it happen.»
«Lani said there is no certainty…»
«Lani needs to learn how to speak. Only listen to what Clan Leader says.»
WonPil remains silent for some time, only sobbing, after that. «I need to tell someone… I must tell you… I can't be the only one who knows, if something happens to me…» He gasps.
«Nothing will happen to you.»
«But if it will, someone will have to know the truth. I can't be the only one and bring that to the grave. There could be a tremendous consequence…»

JinYi is still a mess. He doesn't leave his room for any reason and because of that, he of course ends up missing the whole fighting part of the tournament. But in that situation, it's really the last of his interests.

JinYi suddenly returns to Shiinden, one day in advance from what he estimated when he left.
He has a hood over his head, actually wearing a terrestrial sweater, full black and not exactly his size.
He keeps his head low and his face is hard to see in that pose.
He is running like crazy, up the stairs.

Bad babysitter.
It's not that he is being less careful on purpose, he just got entrusted a lot of stuff, now that everyone left. Other than watching over XinLan, he also has to bring supplies to WonPil, as LaNi ordered him, and write reports on the situation in Shiinden. Nothing should happen, but one is never too safe.
On top of that, as if what Xie did to him wasn't embarrassing and troublesome enough, his father started to mess him up even more starting to send messages to him. That he is ignoring, but it scares him.
Due to all that, he indeed ends up being a little negligent towards XinLan, tired and distracted all the time. He doesn't even think anything could happen, after all, the kid is always in the garden, depressing that his family isn't there.
Clearly JinYi has never been a reckless kid, but LanLan...

Cloud Recesses.
After WuXin explained him everything, in truth be didn't do much. He was a bit overwhelmed by everything, therefore he felt so tired he fell asleep almost immediately after retiring to the bedroom he chose, in the dormitory.
He didn't change yet, nor he ate, he literally slept all the way till the next morning.
When he wakes up, he feels more refreshed than ever before. He didn't get the chance to sleep in a such relaxed way, at the palace, with all the anxieties clouding his mind.
As he opens his eyes, he looks around, at first almost confused. "It wasn't a dream, it is all real..." he says to himself.
He approaches the closet to see the uniforms WuXin mentioned, but well... he doesn't feel so sure about wearing SO few layers on his body.
He leaves the room, it's very early, an hour after dawn. He wants to take a bath, but he doesn't know where to find the bathroom, in the Grand Temple and he is worried to end up accidentally entering someone else's room, so he ends up outside.
He remembers more or less everything WuXin told him about the Houses, so he knows where to head to find what he needs: House of Fox.
After making sure there is nobody there, he starts to search the rooms until he finds what he was looking for: the Requirement Room.
When he opens the door, it looks like a super luxury bathroom, with a bath-pool already filled and extremely appealing even for the standards of a Zhou Prince.
He takes a long bath in there, to recover the fact the previous day he only had ONE of the three usual baths he takes during a day. Naturally he washes with his undergarments on, clean ones that he found in the room, together with nice snacks of his likings, that he can enjoy while bathing. The Prince is a clever boy. XD
When done with washing, he walks out of the room, and thinks again what he really needs in that moment. When he opens the door again, there is a whole fashion room with hundreds of hanfu, accessories and even a poster that explains how to wear one on his own.
When satisfied with his appearance, he finally returns to the Grand Temple.
Since WuXin eventually forgot about the mask matter, and he made sure to do nothing to remind him about it, he still wears it.
It's around 10 am by the time he returns there and he barely makes in time .and a few steps inside that someone arrives from behind and grabs his sleeve, pulling him.
