A brief encounter

Lan Family. True Blood, respected and friends with several Sacred Blood including General Wu. Two brothers, one extremely talented and smart, also handsome and very tidy, admirable and popular, the other, an average, sensitive boy, younger than the first but only of few months.
The younger brother, Li Yang, never attacked or tried to bully the other brother, regardless he was not a legitimate son like himself. Ru Yin, on the other hand, regardless his status didn't deem himself lower than anyone. It was him to be the bully, his way to defend himself from possible attacks of other True or Sacred Blood. And it worked, his aggressive behaviour really kept him safe, regardless they could still talk ill of him behind his back.

Why did he start behaving that way?

At the beginning, in early age, he had a different treatment from Li Yang, who always got spoiled. He spent more time between servants and family dogs. They started to hold the child dear and one of the male servants told him the dangers he faced as bastard son. "You risk not to earn anything. The other Gongzi will inherit everything Lan XiongZhang has, you have to show your worth from now and do everything better. You haven't to let any other True Blood disrespect you, remember your best defence is attack."

And Ru Yin took it very, very seriously...

Ru Yin started to pester his father more. He insisted in having a proper education so he hired him a preceptor and a trainer. Quickly and from the very beginning, he showed better results than Li Yang.
His father wasn't happy but it was undeniable. Everyone around noticed the talent of the boy. Ru Yin grew more and more in arrogance in the years. He still didn't get recognized as legitimate son though, it made him bitter.

IG

Name: Zhang Cheng
Age: 34
Occupation: Imperial Guard
Region: Jiaomeng
City: Shenzi
Family status: Commoner
Look: Average, cute, 1.80 tall.

He is an average IG but with a very kind heart, who joined the organization to help his family. Everything going well for him, it is really a good period of Cheng's life. Too good.
He is on a mission near his city with his group when they get captured. They are after criminals, but they have to investigate and stay back from danger, only reporting informations. Too bad they are noticed.

Cheng faints. He wakes up hours later, tied in the middle of a circle, written with his blood.
He looks around, very scared. He struggles and aims to leave but someone arrives, pushing him back inside. "Listen, Officer Zhang." The criminal is holding in hand his badge. "You still have the chance to leave here alive, if you cooperate." A lie.
"W..what do you want from me? I know nothing. If...if you are practicing necromancy here, I really can't..." Cheng gasps.
"Cover his mouth. I don't want to waste time." The criminal orders his men.
There are several scary objects. One of which, catching his eye in particular, is a long sword, red, black and gold colours. It looks like a spiritual weapon, a very powerful one.
They make Cheng unable to speak and start the ritual. The criminal stands by the circle, starting to recite a formula, ending with: "...bring HuaiXing*, Lan Ru Yin back."
Cheng is petrified for fear. He feels something happening to him, suddenly his soul is pushed away from his body and he sees a black figure moving in, before to fade and reach the halls. Unluckily for the men there, Cheng still had the choice on what to ask the new soul.
The young man inside the circle starts to stand up, looking a bit stunned and confused by what happened. He breaks the ropes tying him, bothered by them. He doesn't know anything about such rituals, he can't explain himself what happened yet and as usual, for souls brought back, it takes a while to remember everything of their past life.

The people there look excited. "We really made it! I wasn't sure."
The ritualist approaches with a pleased smirk. "You are here, Lan Ru Yin." He extends his sword towards him, hoping it'll remind him fast. While Ru Yin studies his sword, still stunned, he aims to use a talisman on him but before he manages, he is grabbed by neck and lifted. He motions others to restain Ru Yin and they try but he pushes them all back with his powers, causing a little explosion.
He keeps tightening his grip around his neck, staring at him. "You dare...to make me a puppet." Unluckily for them all, the body he is in is in very good shape. He throws away the one he was holding, making him crash against a wall.
He unsheats his sword and makes a massacre of anyone in that room, as he was asked to do by Cheng in the brief moment they met.
He looks at himself and decides to change, taking a piece here and there from the corpses. Total black Jianxiu, armored wrist covers. Taken everything he was interested into, including money, he destroys the place with his supernova and leaves. He has the good idea of hiding the sword's identity.

*Huai - Evil
Xing - Star

He travels for some day, not coming across Cheng's city. He finds another city and starts to look for a place where to eat.

Stupid spoiled brat.

"Normally bastard children, born from raping a young servant girl are treated worse and can be looked down at, lower than dogs, but you don't ever dare looking down on me or you'll regret. Ask my younger brother, born from proper marriage. I have never let him mistreat me because of my origins." A total, a**hole bully. "Yes, mother didn't want me to go overboard. She said they treated me well and it wasn't necessary BUT. I was told what old Lan did to her. Lan...such a meaningless, little family. I want to puke, thinking about them.
Lan were part of Zhou family, centuries ago, but an ancestor split from them to marry a commoner, creating a new clan of his own but never reaching the same prestige. We are mere True Blood now.
Old Lan paid me a preceptor, a trainer, I had all sort of expensive, useless sh*t. He noticed soon I was the good one of the two. That young little sh*t was good to nothing.
Talented, handsome, smart." Just a tiny bit arrogant :v "CAN YOU IMAGINE ANYTHING BETTER?
I put effort, really a lot. I thought he'd give me the position of Captain for General Wu, put a good word for me. The two evil farts were friends but they'd rather give MY POSITION TO AN USELESS SH*T and to me, Commander, his little slave who should have also told him what to do in every situation!
I coudn't stand it and I faced the evil old fart Lan. Naturally I hit him and downed him in no time. He was trained but I had my tricks.
Suddenly I heard something behind me. I turned around and I saw Captain Useless, keeping a dagger against my mother's throat. He trembled as I approached. He begged me to spare him and old Lan. I didn't plan to kill the two, I wanted to scare them, get what I deserved.
I told mother to come to me but he wouldn't let her go. I approached to take it away. The fuss caused others in the house to come but I didn't care, I only kept trying to take away that dagger. When I did, I realized soon it was dirty of blood and I saw her, mother, bending down, falling, holding her throat.
I tried to help her, stop the bleeding but it was really too much. She died in my arms, the only person who really cared for me, who accepted abuse to make me live well.
I picked that stupid dagger and I went against that little sh*t. I stabbed him...I lost the count of how many times but no one would recognize me after that.
They tried to pull me back but it was late. They wanted to restain me, but I couldn't control my anger. I told them how much I deemed them disgusting, then I did it...I said I had tricks. I don't know how to describe it. Do you know how does it work with stars? When they die, they explode, they enlarge and devour anything on their way. I put them all down first, then I created this small bubble of light. I left the house and I let it finish them, as it exploded, destroying even the house and any proof.
Where did I learn? On my own. It happened casually and I started to work on it.

A great opportunity came. The two brothers were 20 and 19 years old. RuYin completed his trainings successfully, including military camp training. LiYang was a little behind. General Wu had already a few candidates but knew his dear friend had two capable boys and asked him to candidate them.
They agreed and they were tested but old Lan didn't waste the chance to lie to General Wu or make him less likely to choose RuYin as Captain. He told him there was something seriously off with the boy, something evil.
RuYin proved to be among the best in terms of brain and martial arts but with what old Lan told General Wu, he was not enthusiastic at all about the boy. RuYin didn't know and thought he had already the role in his hands.
His swords were already quite famous. Huan and Xi.

Nervous

He has sight again but he can't say he feels any better. He had to cover his eyes to endure the pain caused by the new light striking him for the first time.
Luckily he can see slightly through the band but not so well. He is very worried actually, what will he say to TiHao and WonPil? They will definitely notice the band and get worried.
To be alone and think, he goes to the Grand Temple, up to the telescope place. He begins to play flute, something created with magic, it is white and comes from Jihala only. A very soft melody he wrote just recently for his umma.
He wears Earth clothes, he still didn't renew his wardrobe since he definitely doesn't care about his looks.

Kun

Constellation: Yinying Seal - Shadow -
Stars: 6 - all class T, the least luminous and coldest stars, almost to consider black, hardly visible with naked eye -
Main Star: Wuxian
Armour and flute: www.roleplay.me/photo/2886609

Legend: It is said Wei Wuxian was a cultivator, that took the path of evil after being thrown into the eastern deadlands, north of Fengshii, where he created the Shadow Seal. Able to manipulate shadows, even spirits, through the use of a flute named Old Flame. Cultivators hated Wuxian, pushing him away and considering him responsable for many terrible crimes. The Gods never punished or cursed Wuxian though, something the cultivators didn't understand.
They punished Wuxian themselves after a harsh fight, thinking to be doing right. After his death, Jihala and Juku appeared to them, revelaing Wuxian had never left the just path, and punished the cultivators.
It is still unknown where the body of Wuxian exactly is, as Juku and Jihala moved him in a place where he could have eternal peace and rest: far North, an island surrounded by thick shadows, very hard to reach. In the near waters, that took so many lives in the attempt to get there, there is the very soft sound of a flute.
His tomb, together with his body, hides the Silver Cloth.

Kun likes Shiinden and begins to study hard, like never before. He reads about the legend and the idea to use shadows and music together inspires him so much he starts to attempt and succeed. He found his element, definitely.
While in Shiinden though, he meets Chakrii. The Avatar of Jeisin heals his eyes, to his big surprise but something unexpected happens. Kun feels a lot of pain by the light reaching his sight for the first time, so much he has to cover his eyes with a black band. He still doesn't know well how but it is going to become a weapon in his hands too.
