The year is 2005, and the world is quickly advancing in both technology and inovation. In order to supply the world with the things needed to push the advancement of numerous nations, large cargo ships set off onto the oceans to transport goods and supplies.
With billions worth of goods sailing the sees at any given time, many less fortunate have set their sights on these vessels. Pirates plague the seas, and assets are under constant threat of being illegally seized and sold on the black market.

To prevent this, shipping companies turn to military contractors to act as security onboard of these cargo vessels. That is where two guns-for-hire come into play. A new security job has been posted, and a team of four veteran contractors are required for a routine haul across the world. The team is expected to have an easy job, a baby-sitting job on a boat. Little do they know, they are about to enter the fight of their lives.

It's 2023. There is war in the world, governments are in a constant political arms race, and the world is what you know it to be.
However, behind the curtains of the world stage, a secret has been kept. Myths and legends are not only that behind these curtains, and a secretive multi-national organization has been trying hard to keep the world safe and ignorant of the truth.

Vampires, werewolves, ghosts, demons, and a whole host of other things bump in the night. That's where the International Cryptid Response Unit comes in. Countless agents on all continents fight and negotiate with cryptids of all shapes and sizes to ensure a peaceful and undisturbed life for not only the human race but the peace of cryptids and the safety of our very existence.

That's where you come in. You're a brand new recruit fresh out of training. As an ICRU agent you have been assigned to a veteran agent in order to learn the ropes and find your own niche within the organization itself. Wil you survive? Or will this new and hostile life break you?

⋈ I can do any character a story requires, but if romance is to be involved, it has to be female-male relations.
⋈ I reserve the right to decline any roleplay I don't want to do.
⋈ Please be polite.
⋈ Always let me know if a roleplay needs to be put on pause.
⋈ Know your capitals and punctuation.
⋈ English isn't my first language, but grammar is nice and doesn't have to be immaculate.
⋈ Be ready to help build on an idea and/or plot.
⋈ You get taken off the list if you are inactive for more than a week after letting me know.
⋈ I'm not religious, but Sunday is my "holy day". Meaning I will do what I want, how I want when I want.
⋈ If we have an active RP going and you don't notify me to take a break, I'll remove you from my list after a while.
⋈ I believe honest communication is the best way to have a fun roleplay.
⋈ Two paragraphs per post is a minimum.
⋈ Do not mix IC with OOC.
⋈ I have Discord. I might want to move it there if we're hitting it off. Not mandatory.
⋈ You, the roleplayer, and the character you play have to be above the age of 18.
⋈ My stories are usually PG-13 in nature. Hence above.
⋈ All roleplay I write has to be done in 3rd person.
⋈ Please don't approach me in character. I prefer to talk through ideas and plots thoroughly before a story starts.
⋈ I have activated "Auto-Approve", so if I don't respond after you add me, I am either asleep, at work, or doing one of my other hobbies.
⋈ I will only have a handful of plots going at a time. So if you add me, and I deny you, that is why.
⋈ This is more of an FYI than a rule. I work weekends, meaning that from Thursday to Saturday, my activity on this site will be minimal. I will do my best to reply to posts and talk to people on my friend list during this time, but it is not guaranteed that I will be able to.
⋈ I like to sit down and write my stories in sessions. If you're looking for someone to write one or two posts a day, I'm not your guy.
