One of the oldest mummified remains we have of a disabled person(possibly from birth) is a cave woman that was rendered immobile due to her disabilities. She was found in a cave on top of a plateau and died in her 20's. Not only was she taken care of, she had cavities from where her family spoiled her with plums!
