☂️You add, you talk talk first. Same applies to me if I add first. I don't really know what else to say about this one to be honest...
☂️ If I decline your friend request, then PLEASE do not try to add me again! If I wanted to write with you, I would have accepted you’re friend request the first time. Constantly trying to add me repeatedly will not make me want to suddenly write with you! If
anything, it will only make me want to just straight-up block you.
☂️ I actually happen to have a child irl so I’m often pretty busy. Parenthood tends to leave me feeling rather drained to the point I’ll log on but can’t seem to find the drive to write anything and will often take days to reply. So if I don’t respond for a few days, then please note that it’s not because I’m ignoring you intentionally, I just don’t have the energy left in me to write but will try to get back to you whenever I can. If you really want me to reply as soon as possible but it’s been about a week or two since my last reply, then go ahead and bump me and I’ll try to get to you first.
☂️ The last point is kind of a seg-way for this one; please respect my privacy. I’m not going to be asking any questions regarding your personal life so please to try to ask any about mine. I am here to find people to write with for the most part and if I, in turn, feel comfortable with you, then I will be more than happy to move things over to Discord where I will be a bit more active. But seeing as I count Discord as social media, I don’t like giving it away to people I don’t feel comfortable with. So please don’t go asking for mine right away. Let’s write together for a bit before trying to move the rp to a different place. Thank you.
☂️ While I do not mind the occasional sm*t in roleplays, I am in no way interested in plotlines that revolve entirely around that. I use this specific account to write mainly as Five Hargreeves from the comic book and Netflix series “The Umbrella Academy”, a character who is canonically a fifty-eight-year-old man who is stuck in his thirteen-year-old body as the result of time travel gone wrong. And even though I occasionally write him with his physical body being more around twenty, I still will refuse to do any ERP on this account simply because it would not fit his character and would also make me become incredibly bored of the role-play rather quickly
☂️ Please, for the love of whatever deity is out there, try to write a minimum of one-to-two paragraphs! They don’t have to be very long paragraphs either, just a minimum of about two or three lines either. I try to average my replies out to be around two or three paragraphs myself depending on my level of inspiration at the moment. But I just cannot work with one-liners to save my life… It gets boring pretty quickly for me if I only have a sentence to go off of since there isn’t much to work with at that point. So please try to give me something in return to work with.
☂️ Please be literate! I’m not asking for perfect grammar and spelling all of the time because we’re all human and we’re bound to make mistakes. I make them too and I make plenty of spelling/grammatical errors when I write (there are probably even some in this blog lol) But at least make it eligible. If I can’t read it, then there’s no way I’ll be able to reply.
☂️ Don’t try to control my character. I shouldn’t have to say this but there are people out there who think it’s ok to do this. There’s no fun roleplaying with someone when they decide that it’s ok to take over the other’s person’s character. At that point, why roleplay with another person? You’re basically just writing by yourself then.
☂️ I guess this could technically be grouped with the last one but please no god-modding! Again, nobody is perfect so please don’t make your character perfect. Everybody has flaws and flaws within writing can make it more interesting. Especially if it’s flaws that a character has to try to overcome.
