Rules:
1. No God modding and no controlling my Characters. I will try not to control yours so I would like for you to try not to control mine. I will let you know and likewise you should let me know if this ever needs to change.
2. If you send me the friend request here are the expectations/requests -
a) That you have read my main profile and possibly these rules, one can hope.
b) Message me first. Pretty basic first expectation, most people have this set up.
c) If you have an idea for a roleplay already or have a character that you want to use, go right ahead and tell me. I cannot come up with an idea/plot by myself and get sparks of creativity based off of the words you send me. I’m not saying to send me a starter but if you’re feeling a genre or theme, go ahead and tell me about it.
d) If I accept your request and you don’t message me in 4-7 days I may remove you. I don’t fluff up my friends list, I roleplay with the people on my friends list. If you add me and then life pops up, totally fine! If you can’t message me but I see a profile post that life has happened, automatic extension. Communication is the key here.
3. I usually respond once or twice a week. My system is pretty exact, I work from the bottom of the mailbox and work my way up. If I’m unable to post for any kind of reason, life happening, in a funk, etc. I’ll let you know through a profile post.
a) Nudging - I’ve not had this issue in a while, quality partners usually don’t want their replies to be rushed. But if you haven’t heard from me and I posted a reason and you nudge me, sorry to say but that puts you at the top of the mailbox.
b) I will nudge you after after a while if I’ve seen that you’ve been on recently. To better explain, if it’s been 14 days since you responded, I’m going to your profile and if your profile says you haven’t been on in 17 days, you’re good. Now if I haven’t gotten a response in 16 days but I’ve seen you on and your profile says you’ve been on today, probably gonna get a nudge.
c) After about a month you will probably be deleted. Unless you tell me life is happening. You don’t have to give me details but if you tell me that your posts are going to become sporadic due to life then you will pretty much have an unlimited time.
d) I shoot pool(billiards) on Monday nights, work 40+ hours a week with family and friends on top of it. I'm going to try and post every Sunday, if not you may get a post through out the week.
4. Vocalizing! You are my partner in this adventure, you can speak up.
a) If we start a roleplay and you don’t think we’re going to be a good fit partner wise, it’s okay. Let me know, I won’t get mad, I won’t yell. I may ask for your opinion on why but otherwise okay. If we don’t fit we don’t fit and I will wish you luck in finding people that do fit.
b) If something bothers you about our roleplay; such as how my character is behaving, where the story is going, or how slow the story is moving; I will absolutely hear you out and we can more than likely work it out. If it results in a new roleplay, that’s fine with me as well, the important part is keeping us both happy with the adventure.
5. Genre’s I like to play are- Anime, Casual, Crime, Crossover, Custom, Drama, Fantasy, Historical, Mafia, Romance, Sci-Fi, Supernatural and Real Life. I do prefer my roleplays to have some romance, but it shouldn’t be the main story and it shouldn’t happen right away, don’t force or rush it. I like substance with development.
6. None of this is real. I am not your girlfriend/boyfriend, I have absolutely no obligation to a relationship with you even if my character does. We are not dating IRL (In real life), remember I’m married. Do not ask. Do not try. Do not even bother. I’m sticking with my husband, his name is Kevin.
a) I don’t mind getting to know my partners outside of the roleplay, a little outside conversation mixed with roleplaying is fine, creates a bond for better understanding. However if you ask anything inappropriate of me along the lines of but not limited to sexting, nude pictures, etc. You will be deleted or blocked. I can’t even explain this one further, you’d think it would be common sense.
b) My husband knows I’m here at this site, he knows the content I play, he’s okay with it and supports my hobby. He will never read our roleplays I give you that guarantee. These adventures are between you and I. (And my cat Emmy.)
7. I only roleplay in third person. There will be no first person. First person will fall under rule 6a since I assume the plot will probably have romance in it, deletion. Luckily most people on this site agree that third person is the way to go!
8. So my profile will pretty much tell you I’m on almost every day. I log in on multiple devices throughout the day so it can be a little misleading. So I have to warn you that I may not even do replies that day. I do try to do replies but you know, sometimes it doesn’t work out and I stare at the screen for an hour or so. Just happens.
9. Equivalent exchange. If I give you three paragraphs, try to do three back or more. If you can’t don’t worry, unless you’re one lining me or flat out not giving me enough to work with, then we’ll need to address that. If it only happens once in awhile, that’s fine. It happens, odd personal fact - I stopped roleplaying to prep and go through Hurricane Irma and by the time it was over I had to work myself back up to the big posts again. Like I was rusty or something. Hahaha!
Final note: I understand I just had you read a lot of rules and some of them may come off as intense but I’m really a pretty understanding person and as long as you communicate with me and aren’t rude everything should be fine. And likewise I will communicate and not be rude towards you. If I am rude, go ahead call me out, it’s okay. You learn from mistakes. I’m sure throughout the rules page there has been a spelling or grammatical error, I’m not a grammar nazi, if I can understand your post and vice versa, it’s all good and most people on here are good at that anyway. Go ahead, you’ve made it to the end, if you’re still interested go ahead and send a request. I can’t wait to hear from you :D
