Miyu, the forbidden romance
Name: Miyu Hashirama
Age: 19

Eyes: Sapphire blue
Background: Miyu was born into a noble family who overlooks and governs a well off village. Everyone is quite happy in the village, and Miyu lives a cookie cutter life. She lives in a big manor, has a loving father, kind mother, and 2 older sisters. While her parents are good to her, they are also very strict and all about keeping up appearances. Most days there are guests who come by and Miyu and her sisters are expected to be proper and perfect at all times. To Miyu, it gets boring. Step into the finest gowns, wear a face full of uncomfortable makeup, smile until her cheeks hurt. Be polite, don’t slouch, walk at a moderate speed, be seen and not heard unless spoken to.
Miyu’s sisters love this life of luxury and one is already married, being sent off to live at another village, while the middle sister is being courted by another male. Miyu on the other hand? She shows no interest in any man who courts her. They come in with a big fancy gift, wearing their nice clothes, flashing their charming smiles and trying to get Miyu to open up. When they see her more rebellious side, they seem to shy away and go off to find someone who’s more.. Domestic.
Miyu often sneaks away from the manor to go into the forest that surrounds the village. She likes to talk to the animals, dunk her feet in the pond, and spend time all by herself. It gets lonely, sure.. But she wants to feel some type of normalcy. When she gets bold enough she’ll find some plain clothes to change into and go into the town as well. No one knows who she really is except a person or two who get nervous when she’s out and about, but it feels so nice to be among normal people who live normal lives. She tried getting a job but that was a bit of a stretch and she got in trouble for it, but it was worth a shot.
Miyu is now without a significant other, being berated by her parents to just follow the customs and pick someone already. Her mother and father love each other, how come she couldn’t find someone to love? She asked if a commoner could be selected for her but they instead laid out 3 different families they wanted her to marry into. A total of 10 suitors. They gave her a year to pick one before they picked one for her and sent her away. It’s been 9 months since then.. Time is ticking and the closer the day gets, the more Miyu sees the horizon and wants to chase it.
