Making children is for the night, work and cultivation for the day.

Before returning home, he stops by a dog refugee and gets himself a dog for real, a Bernese mountain dog cub.
Done that, he returns to the place he thinks to be his with the new pet and pretty much locks himself up in his room. He orders the servant to not receive anyone, to not even go to check if someone knocks.
