After Bin leaves his house, he takes the items he was looking for, contained in an old bag he had been keeping all that time, and opens a portal to Earth as well.
He doesn't head to Seoul, though, not yet. Instead, he goes to Shanghai, where those weird wand-maker friends of his have their shop and live.
Once there, he charges his old phone and sends a call to someone, hoping that he didn't change his number in those years. For his luck, the other picks up and the voice tells right away he is who he wanted to speak to.

"Yaboseo? Hyung? You alive? Yaboseo?"
He takes a deep breath. "Jiyong..."
"YAH! Are you f***ing kidding me? Where the hell did you end up?! You just vanished out of nowhere! Spiritual journey? My ass! What the f*** happened? Are you even going to speak at all?!"
"It's hard to explain..."
"How is it hard? You forgot how to speak?"
"I will tell you when we meet face to face. Meanwhile, I need to ask you a favour."
"WHAT? You seriously... what are you? You just disappear without a word and now pop up back to ask a favour?" He sure is baffled.
"Jiyong... things have turned very complicated for me. I will tell you everything, but first I must ask you this. There is nobody else I can ask to. Please..."
Long silence. Snort. "What."
"My son i-"
"Your what?!"
"My son, HoSeok, is in Seoul with some other kids. I think they are in my old house, if it's still mine, even..."
"Your 'manager' and business partner from your agency MC Ent has been living there the whole time."
"Eh?!" He facepalms. "Nevermind. Please, can you go to check if my son is there and if he's all right? Please, stay close to him... I can't myself, for now."
"I swear I am going to kill you when you come. So don't be late. When will you return?"
"Soon. I'm not yet sure."
"Ah, what does your kid look like, by the way?"
"I'll send you a picture."
"K."
"Jiyong... gomawo."
"Whatever. Send that picture and hurry to bring your ass here."

Done that, he searches up on internet the phone number of JiHo. "Yah, you."
"Uh? This voice... could it be..."
"Hm, It's me. So, i Heard I own an agency together with you."
"Oh, you probably forgot, but you signed the contract, while back!"
"While I was asleep?"
"Passed out!"
"Much legal. Anyhow, can you spam my face all over Seoul?"
"What do you mean?"
"Posters, digital advs? Contact the main music channel televisions to send my music videos on, radios to get my songs."
"Ahh, specials? Are you preparing for a massive comeback, by any chance?"
"Just do that. My movies and dramas too. Pay them if needed." He just wants Ri to see his face literally everywhere.
"Pay them?" He giggles. "As if there was even just one of them who doesn't owe me a favour or is out of my blackmailing list!"
TOP rolls his eyes.

And eventually, pride aside, he decides to show up to the others again, not for himself though.
He comes to the place where your character lives, wearing his peasant clothes.

It's evening and he went to Suhyen to spend some quiet time with HoSeok, to change from the usual Shiirhuang.
After eating dinner at a food stand, they take a walk around in the city and happen to reach the manor of the Archduke.
While there, though, something unsettling happens.
A bunch of people in black gather in front of the gate and slaughter the guards, as well as anyone trying to obstacle them.
They quickly break inside and the chaos begins. Fight noises, screams and death.
Seunghyun remains stunned, but decided to not act just yet. Imperial guards rush inside the manor too, but the situation doesn't seem to improve.
"Sweetie..." Yes, he call his son that way and neither of them gives a damn. u.u "Go to hide, I must go to take a look. Wait for me somewhere safe, ok?"
"Appa..."
"Go, go..." He motions Boo to get away from there and finally walks inside the gate. Corpses everywhere and seemingly all the Imperial Guards were killed. He has a very bad feeling, also since he knows who is supposed to live there.

"Aish..." He picks up a sword from one of the corpses and advances in the palace. All the defenders died, but also most of the attackers.
He gets involved in some fights, and eventually he is forced to use his Avatars powers, that he wanted to avoid using unless strictly necessary.
After killing a few, without too many difficulties, he reaches the central part of the palace, where he arrives just in time to see the Archduke being killed by a woman in a black armour, while shielding his grandson from her.
Right before that woman could get to Liang, he grabs her and pushes her back very violently.
He summons his Avatar armour and creates a sword of light.

The fight lasts for a long while, that woman is clearly not just some random bandit.
When he finally manages to overpower her, though, she runs away, not intending to get herself killed.
Seunghyun doesn't chase after her. He picks Liang up, who is about 8 years old, and, jumping on the back walls of the palace, he runs away from there with him.
He doesn't remain to check if someone from the place is alive, but guesses that if Liang was there with his grandfather, there aren't many chances his parents made it.

* With the armour on, his hair is golden.

He teleports away from Suhyen, needing to deal with Liang matter, then will return to get HoSeok. He doesn't want him to get involved.
He returns to Shiirhuang, actually clueless what ro do with the child. He is in a big hurry.

His money is very little. As a farmer, he gets to earn very few of it, by selling the extras, but that kind of products is rather cheap to sell.
Most of what he produces he has to keep to feed Boo, he himself hasn't been eating in years.
That's one of the reasons why, although he pondered it a lot, he couldn't give up on his powers. That thin economic balance he has, strictly depends on his powers. With them, he is stronger, needs to sleep just a couple of nights per week, can work more, can help the plants with extra light... but it really hurts him a lot to be unable to touch his son. To have to always be so over careful because a slight touch could hurt him really bad.
It's all very frustrating for him, but he refuses to give up.

He still can't make up his mind with a decision regarding the issues Boo might be facing for the desertion.
He could report his abduction, pray they won't say it's just a fake to escape the punishment and then probably be forced to send his son back to the camp. The thing is, he really doesn't want him to have to go back there. But at the same time, he doesn't want him to spend his whole life as an escapist or risk to get killed for deserting.
The thought haunts him, but for now all he manages to do is to remain in that Inn. But he definitely needs more money.

While HoSeok is sleeping in the inn, during the day, he goes back to his farm to check around if there is anything of value he could sell.
He still has all of QinShi's things from the future, maybe there could be something helpful in his bag.
He goes upstairs, in the space under the roof, where he hid the things from the future.
He also has the Zhou family jewelry he wore in the future, but he is not ready to sell that. It's the only thing that could prove his origins, should it come to it one day. A probably vane hope but he has it more for Boo than himself.

Seunghyun in the attic uncovers a bag from the blanket it was protected from and opens it. The first things he extracts is a folded parchment.
He opens it. It's a portrait of QinShi and SongYu from their wedding, the first one. "You look like two death sentenced... I guessed that marriage turned out that way for you..." he murmurs to himself, already starting to cry.
He folds the parchment back and checks what else is inside: vials with different liquids inside, other types of medicines, small inventions, his infamous notebook, the wedding ring he stopped to wear...
"Why am I even doing this..." he sobs and places everything back. "I can't sell his things, I shouldn't even touch them..." He wipes his tears but more keep coming.

After getting the nth proof that there is nothing of value in that house that he'd be willing to sell, he takes his bow - self made - and goes to the forest, remaining there for a while. Until he manages to be tracked down by a tiger, that he kills with his powers.
Not the most valuable of things, but tigers' skin has a market at least.
He brings the carcass to someone who would buy and earns a silver from it.
That's more than he has had in a while and at least enough to feed Boo for a couple of weeks and keep a roof above his head. Until he will finally decide what to do about the matter.

"It's not possible, it's simply unthinkable... aniyo, think... there has to be a logical explanation..." He is in total shock. He is sweating and trembling. "Twins have the same DNA, it surely has to be him not me... it just can't be... I mean, I've arrived here just..." He scratches his head. "6... ani, 7 years ago... how old is he again...? Aish!" He takes his head in hands. "It must be Song's... it's just a case, a coincidence... but he was already married seven years ago, would he even go around to f*** random women like you did, you stupid f***?!" He hits his own head a few times.
He is also crying, locked inside a room.
What burns the most is that he got to find out about this only now that he has nothing to offer. Boo was poor his whole life, was born into one of the richest families and couldn't enjoy a second of it.
He is totally shattered by the news...
