☽ Rough Starter Prompts ☾
Just a few rough drafts and tossed-off ideas. I may or may not be back for RP. Either way, feel free to grab any of these. I'd be happy enough to inspire someone's muse, even if mine is dreading to be.
- Love and Exorcisms - (For emmy)
Ideally set in 1960s England, my muse- a graduated and renowned student of the most prestigious university, is now an exorcist for hire. Your muse- is a seminarian, having dabbled in white arts and mysticism, looking to reclaim some sort of purpose and dignity after . . . well, a supernatural incident causing her husband's death. Both of the muses' ideologies clash, on the grounds that they grew up in Roman Catholic and Protestant environments respectively, but a darker strand of fate's strings would come to collide their worlds together. A possessed tenant in the rundown building that your muse had no choice to stay at for the time being, due to strained family connections and lack of wealth, calls the attention of my muse. This is his stamping ground. What would result in an easy come, easy go banishment of the demon spirit shifts to a messy, chaotic state of affairs -- a person is killed, and there's blood on both their hands.
A story not for the faint of heart, this details the lines of morality, faith and the belief systems the muses cling to. All the while, a murkier storm is brewing... having gone through that large calibre of horror in such short time as they did, any pair is bound to become attached, through trauma and their displays of iron will. Could love still blossom in esoteric darkness?

All characters here are created based on my imagination and creativity, unless otherwise stated. It's understandable when one needs a source of inspiration, but at least do not brazenly copy. Thanks for having a look around the profile. In the long run this will save us both time and possible frustration. Please note neither this site nor roleplaying is a novel thing to me; my last account was deleted as I'd forgone the usage of it. I've inhabited a space on this website for 7 years now. It's an on-and-off relationship. Personally hoping I manage to stay this time.
And now then, you know the drill. Read my rules, take your pick of my monsters, and be immersed awhile in a fictional world with me. Sarcasm's unavoidable beyond this point.
!!Heads Up!! From now on, I will NOT be accepting any requests from people who do not read my rules. It is the most basic form of courtesy you can show to a potential co-writer and I'm fed up with those who treat it as an inconvenience. If you aren't here to read, you might as well not be here at all. It comes with the territory, sweetheart.
My Rules:
— Rule I: Real Life / Response Time
ALL real life happenings take precedence before matters online. The admin of this account does not live on this site and he does have commitments that exist outside the screen. That being said, I always keep my partners in the know when it comes to my state of being. I value open and direct communication. It is the cornerstone of any relationship. Plus we are teammates. Communicate to me what works for you and what does not.
Often, I can be swept up by the chaotic sea that is Life for short bursts of periods, e.g. three to four days, so please take this into full consideration when adding. Also. Headspace! It is the most crucial factor for people's "activity" here. Really. This segues into the next and last point.
On this site, so many POS abuse the genuine and serious lot of writers for what they're worth, chalking up their inactivity to ghosting/cold-shoulder behaviour. Misconstrue that as you wish. Because I rather not direct my energy to those who cannot understand what it is like to be busy, for a week or even a few days, that 'x' amount of days without an immediate response from me is more than enough to elicit paranoia in them.
Thus, I welcome those who are familiar with the chaos of life and that continuity CAN BE hard, into my humble abode of a profile. Everybody else unable to grasp this basic concept? Buh-bye.
— Rule II: Expected Literacy
I have a fervent passion for the art and craft of writing. (Obsession, at this point.) I am open to all genres/ideas/verses, on the condition that you can maintain a certain standard of literacy. Normally I write Multi-Paras to mini Novellas, 400~1300 words on a decent day. Rough estimate. 5+ bulky paragraphs. Really I like to write more, especially when the plot hits right.
I don't wish to come across as a narcissistic or condescending bully; I am not the best writer, I'm not even saying I'm a good one. But I work hard on all my pieces of work for people and simply wish for a reciprocal of effort. Always and forever, the real value of your reply to me is the effort you put in. Everything's quid pro quo. And please help out with Plotting. For Heaven's sake, if I wanted to RP with a wall or a parrot, I sure wouldn't be here at all. Use your virtual voice and creative flair. All of this is a collaborative effort, I wish for it to remain that way.
Details. I love them. They keep us engaged and create a multi-faceted narrative diamond, breathing life into the world of our weaving. You give me details? That's my type of playground.
— Rule III: You Add, You Talk
A rule as self-explanatory as it comes. I don't categorise myself as a friends collector, so I purge inactive users or stagnant conversations every now and then. Two weeks- I believe that is a reasonable enough grace period to wait for your 'hi' to come in, but beyond that I'll be wanting to remove you. Feel free to re-add me if you were away, I can be pretty unaware. This is just to keep the friends' list manageable.
— Rule IV: Limits and Boundaries
Requests from ANIME-, WWE-, FURRIES- themed accounts are usually denied with an empathic no. It is more due to personal preference than any theoretical reason, which is a good reason enough so please do not be offended. With that said, I'm not much of a selective adder either; first impressions are superficial, for me at least.
In a similar vein, causing any drama that dampers the roleplay earns a black mark in my book. There is also nothing unethical about blocking someone with a blatant disregard for your feelings and boundaries. It cannot be helped that there is always a compulsive POS somewhere here. But for what this is worth, I like to first see the good in all interactions to come.
— Rule V: Sex Scenes / Dark and Mature Themes
I am willing to incorporate sex scenes between our characters if it were to be a guide/driving force of the roleplay, but not the focus. We can treat it as a fade-to-black or enter deeper territory, as long as it progresses the main plot or is contributory to character development. We do not need to go /in depth/ to write a great one, know what I mean?
I enjoy dark and riveting storylines that have us paint what goes on in the heads of our characters, presenting their inner demons and/or intrapersonal challenges. It injects realism straight into them, making parts of the story or OC somewhat relatable to us. They can make us see the many shades of grey, in every sense of the phrase.
So with the above stated, I only accept writers aged 18+. 21+ people are encouraged.

I play the Male in all pairing sorts (MxF, MxF, MxNB, and what have you).
— On Genres & Verses-
Sky's the limit! I have not come close in savouring the entire plethora of genres and countless verses, but I am a versatile writer simply lying on the fact that I like to write. I write and learn, carrying all into my next roleplay.
Clichés? In the event upon coming across a writer I click with, it becomes more a process of exploring the same-old territory with a new companion. We put our own twists on things. Nothing about "writing" is unique, but moreso authentic. Hence I like a mixed platter, as well as flavours novelty to the both of us. Just unchain your ideas and we work together on what sticks!

In the time I occupy here, it's to let loose creativity and lose some stress in writing with people. Overtures of friendship are much welcomed on the side! I typically make the first move in "OOC ice-breaking" but feel free to let me know if at any point I'm overstepping. I'm a friendly and considerate admin, I promise. Let's have fun, let's learn from each other. Hakuna Matata.
