hydra
hydra " You should learn to love me the way I am.." Del glanced around confusedly. "I don't know, actually, maybe she's..." A faint meow could be heard, and soon, Kitty came fully into view. She had plopped herself down in front of Del, rolling over onto her back and out stretching her paws. "Pelle, come on. Isn't she so cute?"
hydra
hydra "You're so fun.." Del muttered underneath her breath, immediately irritated by the volume of noise emitting from the player.

"Why are you so intent on making me like your music? It's not like any of this will work, Pelle." She huffed at his next question. "30 minutes or so, it just has to warm up. Turn the music down a bit, yeah? You'll wake Kitty up."
hydra
hydra "No, I wouldn't - stop making fun of me, Pelle." Before she could entertain anymore hypotheticals, Del had left to the kitchen. Admittedly, she was starting to feel a little antsy over Pelle being in her house, considering how nosy she assumed he was, but knew it would probably be worse to keep him at arms length. Once finished, Del made her way back to the living room, tilting her head at the man.

"Oh, it's just old. I've had it for ages.." Del hummed, leaning against the edge of her couch. "Who are you playing?"
hydra
hydra Just as she was about to step in, she turned to him suddenly, a solemn expression on her face. "No. Lift." Del stepped through, placing her bag down and immediately pulling a sweater over her ballet uniform. "Yes, I'm afraid of the dark. I don't want to talk about it, alright?" She huffed, walking back to shut about the door behind them. "I'll go put the lasagne to heat up. Make yourself at home, yeah?"

Their homes couldn't be more different. While the apartment had it's... structural issues... it was still relatively clean and definitely looked after. It had small pieces of decoration strewn about - framed pictures, presumably of family and friends, little souvenirs, books, and behind one particular bedroom door, the pink and partially broken CD player that he was looking for.

hydra "I never said I /liked/ them. I just that they were okay. And no, actually, I think he had curly hair or something..." Del stuffed her hand into her duffel bag, searching around the thing for a jingle of keys. "I can't sleep in silence, or in the dark. Actually, I can't really sleep much at all." Finally, her floor, God. She brushed past Pelle and lead him a dark-coloured door in the far corner. "We're home." Her hand retrieved the keys, and she wasted no time in unlocking and pushing open her door.
hydra
hydra "I've heard of this one." Del mumbled, rotating the CD around. "I thought you didn't like Americans. They're okay, I think, but I don't remember any of their songs. I think I remember one of their members, though." She handed the CD back over after a drawn-out inspection of the sloppy writing. "Why does it have to be evil? Why can't it be sweet? I can't sleep with evil music playing."
hydra
hydra "You're insane, Pelle." Del swiftly turned to face the man, snatching up one of the scratched up cds and inspecting them. "These are so scratched - they'll start skipping if you don't keep them safe. Don't you want some cases? I probably have spares." She questioned, absentmindedly walking up the stairs, CD still firmly in hand.
hydra
hydra "Will not. I'll just cover my ears and wait for you to be happy." Sighing softly, Del waited for the other to be in line with her, so she wasn't miles ahead. "... Yeah. I think so." Course she did. It was old, slightly broken and mangled, but still perfectly usable nonetheless. "Did you bring your cds with you?"
hydra
hydra Del huffed at his explanation, but instead of arguing, happily sat and watched his dramatic performance instead. "No, Pelle. I mustn't leave you! I cannot go on without you -" Del grabbed his face with both hands, pulling it to face her. "Just... five more. Come on, we can do it. We can do anything together. Do you want me to carry you?"
hydra
hydra "Ew. They sound like d*cks." Del didn't react much to Pelle suddenly sitting them both down, guessing that it was going to happen at some point. She much preferred it to being dropped on the stairs. "Why don't you leave? I'm sure there's others bands that would have you - better bands, with nicer people. You could bring Necro." She furrowed her brows, placing her head back against his shoulder. "I knew I would. I didn't know that you'd actually go through with it, Pelle. How do your arms feel?"
