|| SAVIOR, BLOODSTAIN||

V is a mysterious man armed with only a satin voice, love of poetry, and his ability to summon forth three demons at his leisure. He's not a well man, who often struggles with his own health, but when push comes to shove he's able to lay down quite the beating with a bit of demonic aid. With that little shove he can become quite the imposing threat.

Personality wise, V is a bit of an enigma. He's calm and collected while also having a sarcastic and driven air to him. It's obvious he keeps much of his own thoughts to himself for good or for worse, which makes getting to know the poet a bit harder than it should be. Who he is at his core is a guarded secret and he'd much rather focus on tasks at hand than reveal anything about himself. He's a goal orientated person, who will orchestrate from the shadows in order to get everything done. This isn't to say, though, that he's uncaring. On the contrary, V feels very strongly about many things which include those that he works closely with. Said feelings may not always be positive, but they are strong and he may act on them from time to time.

Habits wise, He doesn't give much away. He's an intellectual, preferring to stick to reading poetry, opting to read such out loud whether he is idle or engaged in combat.

The demons at his disposal can be summoned forth from his tattoos or his hair and are normally accompanied by a poetic quote. The three demons in his arsenal are Nightmare (A large one eyed being looking as if it was made of tar), Shadow (A panther with swirling blue and red patterns hidden in its fur), and Griffon (A loud mouthed bird with glowing stripes along its wings). All three swear their loyalty to V and act as his constant companions.

((Story. SPOILER WARNING WITH SOME ALTERATIONS TO STORY))

V was not always the sickly looking man he is today. In fact, he's only about a year, maybe a year and a half old. He was born from a demon half breed man named Vergil. Vergil had been so consumed with hate for his twin brother and so driven to become the stronger twin that he sacrificed his humanity after stealing back the demon sword, Yamada. With a swift strike, he impaled himself and with that motion, he expelled several of his personal fears and nightmares and his weaker human half that held him down with emotions.

That human half was V. Born into this world with a single thought: 'I don't want to die'. So a pact was made with one of the nightmares, a bird that would later come to call itself griffon. A pact was formed in order to extend their lives just a bit longer in order to reunite all parties with the demon half that was left after Vergil expelled all else. Without rejoining, all others would wither and die. The demon may live without the others, but the others cannot live without the demonic essence it puts out.

Along his journey he'd come to find Shadow, a panther that is able to morph her body in order to defend herself, and a behemoth that would go by the name Nightmare that would act as the muscle of the group. The three entities would tax V's body and render him more ill than he was, but together they would manage to thrive until being able to rejoin with the body.

|| HELLFIRE, SHADOW||

All of these are my interpretations of the familiars and how they behave. Even in the manga, we don't see much outside of Griffon's personality so I tend to fill in the blanks with tons of head cannons. This is just so you know each one's powers and such.

~Shadow~

A nightmare that takes the shape of a massive panther who's fur glows a deep red that appears almost black in various swirls and patterns along it's fur. She sports the ability to alter her shape, using inky black tendrils like spikes to impale to lash at her enemies. In addition to this she can also fight much like a panther normally would. In terms of personality she's extremely motherly towards V. Fussing over him and tending to him where the others will not. It's because of this that she will act as a form of transportation for V by turning into a shadowy wisp of a form that glides along the ground allowing him to get from one place to another easily.

Shadow is a silent observer, and represents an anger inside of Vergil that he can't quite come to grasps with. She's bitter and angry at the world, while also protective of what's hers.

~Griffon~

Griffon is a loud mouthed bird, with glowing blue feathers lined through blue black ones. He's a constant companion to V, taking up the least amount of strength to maintain and who supports him through aerial means. He sports the ability to summon forth blue lightning and does so with much enthusiasm. He's able to assist V via flight by carrying the poet down from high places or carrying him up to higher ledges he wouldn't be able to reach on his own.

In terms of the three, Griffon is the weakest. Willing to bargain in order to prolong his life just a little bit at a time. It's because of this that he represents the hopelessness Vergil felt, his desire to live and protect himself at all costs.

~Nightmare~

The most imposing of the three. Nightmare is the strongest of the bunch and as such takes the most energy to keep out. At best he can only be kept out for a short amount of time, generally only a few seconds before V requires rest. He offers a natural strength given his sheer size, but he is also able to fire off an energy beam from the single eye set into his body and is able to change parts of his body into a liquid in order to reform it into weapons much like Shadow can. Generally, Nightmare will be kept for dire situations due to the strain he puts onto V's body.

Out of the three, Nightmare is the most personal to Vergil and V. The greatest suffering was endured in Vergil being molded into a weapon for Mundus' use. Because of this, Nightmare represents the combined feelings of rage, fear, hopelessness and helplessness Vergil felt at that period of time.

|| HEAVEN ON A LANDSLIDE ||

|| RULES ||

● 1: Please do not message me right in character. I have no idea how to handle these, and while I will mess around a bit in character, generally dms are for planning rps out before rping.

● 2: This is not an E*R*P account, I'm not really going to be into plots that are done purely for sm*t. Sorry.

● 3: Please, please PLEASE Don't come at me with one liners. Once or twice is okay, but it really doesn't give me much to work off of and I'll get frustrated with the rp if it keeps happening. Not asking for a ton of writing, but at least a couple sentences isn't a ton to ask for.

● 5: Please don't ask me to play any character outside of V or vergil. I might be convinced to play the others in DMC as minor characters, but those will be my primary seeing as V comes with three other characters and Vergil isn't my main character.

● 6: Sometimes I poof, if that's the case just send me a message and remind me. Sometimes life gets at me hard. So it might keep me from replying right away.
