Her "Slice-of-life" adaptation.
Emilia Derricks, an alluring and charismatic woman in her late twenties/early thirties, possesses a mysterious aura that draws people in. She was born into a family with a long lineage of military service and intelligence operatives, she was groomed from an early age to follow in their footsteps. Her upbringing provided her with a unique set of skills and a deep understanding of the shadowy world of espionage.
Her journey as a spy began when she was recruited by a top-secret government agency known as Aegis. From a young age, her exceptional physical abilities, keen intuition, and quick thinking set her apart from her peers. Aegis recognized her potential and trained her extensively in various forms of combat, covert operations, surveillance, and intelligence gathering. The brunette showcased a remarkable talent for blending into different environments, assuming different identities, and adapting to any situation. Her proficiency in languages, mastery of disguises, and expertise in manipulating social dynamics made her an invaluable asset in the field.

Supernatural creatures are monsters, just that. Animals that you hunt and kill before they can bring more pain into this world.
Em is the first-born daughter of Douglas and Andrea Derricks. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, which was her mother’s hometown. She lived there until the day she turned 5, which is when her parents decided to move to America, back to her father’s hometown. Both her little brothers, Max and Leon, were born in the US, and they lived a normal life until the summer of 2011. The whole family had decided to go camping to Little Molas Lake Campground, San Juan national forest in Colorado; two days after they got there, a pack of werewolves attacked and killed them all but Emilia. She had managed to hide and ended up with a very nasty scar on her back, and a trauma that wouldn't let her live a normal life ever again.
She hid inside of a cave and got found by the rangers almost two days later, bloody, dehydrated and terrified. When she told them what she’d seen, they tried to convince her about the fact that it had been wolves that attacked her family, but she knew that was not the truth, Em knew what she’d seen and would not let anyone tell her otherwise.
After the incident, though, she got sent to South America, to Argentina, where her mother’s sister, Petra, was living. She had to spend years there, finishing high school, re-learning Spanish, and then going into college. She had always loved singing, so the girl ended up enrolling in an academy for singers. But all these years, what had happened to her parents and brothers would not let her sleep at night so the moment she got offered a scholarship in America to continue studying she took the opportunity to go back. Only she never really made it to school there.
Instead, Emilia decided to become a hunter, a very dedicated woman who spends her days learning about how to kill every kind of creature she can learn of, keeping a journal to remind herself of every monster, every weakness, and every single piece of information she can find. Very old school with her methods, Emy hasn't learned yet about the fact that “supernatural being” does not necessarily mean “bad”. And even if she’s now fully dedicated to her sort of hunting career, she still sings in bars while on the road, earning enough money by doing so, to be able to survive and keep her 2014 Quicksand Toyota Tacoma TRD in shape.
