Just a little space to appreciate the friends I've made on here ( *ˊᵕˋ* ) ♡ They're wonderful people and even better writers.

@Moth - One of the best people I've met on here in a long, l o n g time. You're a ray of sunshine and a sweetheart, and I always look forward to your replies, whether that's in rp or simply just an answer to our discussions. Our roleplay means a lot to me too and I'm thankful our paths crossed when it did because it definitely made this summer a little more interesting. ♥❀♥❀

@Wuxian - Dear yuán fèn, it's been delightful getting to know you as we write together ( ´ ꒳ ` ) You're hilarious and have created some of my favourite rp moments I've had the pleasure of reading. Aside from that, you're friendly and genuine, and I greatly enjoy our conversations and all the things we've shared with one another. I'm glad we met, and I'm excited for the stories that are still in our future, waiting for us to write them. ⋆.˚ ☾ .⭒˚

⊱ ───── RP Prompts & Ideas ───── ⊰

⊱ ───── RPs ───── ⊰
Total RPs: 5
Current active RPs: 4
Planning stage RPs: 0
Available RP slots: 0

⊱ ───── RE: Forbidden Fruit ───── ⊰ (New!)
Genre: Drama | Scandal | Present-Day | Mystery | Psychological | Toxic Fame | Possible TWs (death, mental issues, addictions, toxic relationships, stalking, etc.) | Hurt/Comfort
Relationship: FxF, FxM, MxM
RPs: 0

Muse A is a well established and respected A-list celebrity with a years long portfolio of work behind them. However, their public image suddenly takes a steep nosedive when they become embroiled in a massive scandal after their long-time, on and off partner dies abruptly… And the police deemed Muse A as suspect number one in their initial investigation. Though Muse A would eventually be cleared of the allegations against them, their public image has been irreversibly damaged by the incident, to the point that Muse A is now in jeopardy of losing their job and opulent lifestyle altogether. So, in an attempt to rehabilitate their public image, Muse A's manager suggests they get into a relationship with a rising star in the industry who's got an immaculate reputation that could drag Muse A's own rep out of the mud.

Enter Muse B, said rising star in the industry that Muse A's manager sets up as a fake “significant other” for Muse A to rehabilitate their image. But as Muse A and Muse B begin their fake PR relationship and grow genuine feelings towards one another as they stage romantic dates and play up their relationship for the cameras… Muse A's past slowly creeps back in, threatening to ruin their life once again. As ugly truths about what really happened to Muse A's partner gets revealed, along with being plagued by unsavoury rumours and a series of accidents that seem to follow this once untouchable A list celeb… Can Muse B come to accept Muse A and all the skeletons hidden in their closet? Even when Muse A's darkness threatens Muse B's own career in the process? And what of the mysterious misfortunes that always seems to befall Muse A, as if someone is hellbent on orchestrating their downfall…? Can love really overcome such odds, or will they both sink into the depths of depravity in this shining world of glitz and glamour?

Notes: I've been itching for a darker tone in my writing when I came up with this prompt. I want to explore the dark side of fame with this one, and though I have a list of possible TWs on the genre, not all of them may be present all at once– it's just there to give the reader a general awareness of what /may/ come up in the story at one point or another. Our characters' professions are malleable for this one as well. Whether they're an actor, singer, dancer, musician, artist, model, part of a K-pop group, etc., as long as they're a famous media personality and could conceivably have fans and obsessive stans, it works for this prompt.

⊱ ───── The Sacrificial Lamb ───── ⊰
Genre: Fantasy | Monsters | Romance | Storybook Vibes | Medieval?
Relationship: FxF, MxM, MxF
RPs: 1

In a small town, which borders a dark and dangerous forest, a local tradition controls the lives of its inhabitants. Every few decades, a ceremony is held in which the townspeople choose someone amongst them to fill the role of a "Sacrifice." This Sacrifice is led into the forest and abandoned there, as an offering to a "Beast" within it, a Beast the townspeople fear will one day emerge and devour their world if they do not satiate it with a sacrifice. This year, due to various circumstances, Muse A is chosen (or perhaps they volunteer of their own volition?). As tradition dictates, they are led into the forest, abandoned, and sacrificed to the Beast. Except... Everything Muse A was told about the Beast, Muse B, and what it does to previous sacrifices, turns out to have been a complete lie.

Notes: You guessed it, it's a beauty and the beast inspired prompt ( ´ ꒳ ` ) / This prompt is flexible in that we can discuss what the "truth" about the Beast actually is. They don't even necessarily need to have beastly attributes, we can go into a more "faerie" route if desired. I've been craving a dynamic of characters who are both unwanted finding peace with each other and so, this prompt was born.

⊱ ───── To My Dearest ───── ⊰
Genre: Historical | Romance | Drama | Love Triangle
Relationship: FxF, MxM, MxF
RPs: 0

Muse A is a mere servant within a noble household. Their duties include delivering their masters' letters all over town. Among these letters are Muse A's Young Mistress'/Master's love letters to another local noble, the reclusive and mysterious Muse B, who always sends the letters back without opening them when Muse A delivers them. Yet, their Mistress/Master is persistent, sending letters to be delivered on a near-daily basis. Feeling bad for their Mistress/Master being rejected so callously, Muse A one day decides to try and convince Muse B to return their affections (perhaps bc Muse A even has feelings for their Mistress/Master?). Amused by a servant advocating on their Mistress/Master's behalf, Muse B asks Muse A an unusual request to convince them that their Mistress'/Master's feelings are sincere: read the love letter to Muse B as if it's Muse A who is in love with them.

Notes: An old prompt I revised bc I'm just itching to play it out with someone 。゚・ (>﹏<) ・゚。 It used to involve more fantasy elements, but I decided to strip it back to the core of the prompt: two characters inadvertently getting closer and learning about one another through someone else's love letters.

⊱ ───── The Muses Will Sing About Us ───── ⊰
Genre: Greek Mythology | Greek Tragedy (?) | Romance | Forbidden | Historical | Gods and Mortals
Relationship: FxF, MxM, MxF
RPs: 1

Muse A is a mortal being pursued by a cruel god. Despite clearly refusing the god’s advances time and time again, the god continues to try and claim the mortal as their own, through meaningless gifts and empty flattery at first, before proceeding to outright coercion and threats. It all culminates one night when the god’s ego could no longer take another rejection and they decide to forcefully make Muse A their own.

Muse A flees for their life, terrified, as the god relentlessly pursues them across the land until a tired and battered Muse A finds and seeks shelter in a temple. Muse B’s temple, to be more precise, another god who is often forgotten or actively hated within their pantheon. They know of the god’s pursuit of the mortal, as the god has told every other god in their pantheon not to intervene, and just like any of the other gods, Muse B has chosen to turn a blind eye to one insignificant mortal’s plight. It doesn’t concern them or their dominion, after all. At least, it didn’t… Until the night Muse A flees to their temple and earnestly prays to Muse B for help, which moves Muse B enough to offer them sanctuary.

This act of kindness, however, has dire consequences. Muse B has just put themselves in between the vengeful god and Muse A, the mortal the god sees as rightfully theirs.

Notes: The prompt doesn't have to be about greek mythology, I could see it working just as well with any other mythologies that exist. I just chose greek mythology because it's the one I'm most familiar with and the story is loosely inspired by classical greek myths. I'm also up for making a completely made-up pantheon of our own for the rp, if that sounds more interesting to you.

⊱ ───── Thick As Thieves ───── ⊰

Genre: Fun | Action | Romance | Office Drama | Present-Day
Relationship: MxF, MxM
RPs: 0

Muse A and Muse B are master thieves independent of one another, but the two always seem to land on the same jobs, after the same priceless painting or jewel. It's gotten to the point that they keep a tally of wins against the other, with both often having to interact a lot during their heists, either to quietly wrestle their target away from the other using fancy gadgets and clever thinking or helping one another escape when one of them inevitably trips the alarm during their duel of wits and cunning.

The thing is, both have day jobs outside their hobby of high-end robberies. Muse A has just applied to work in the same place Muse B works at, and from the moment they meet, Muse A (or B) starts crushing on the other. The problem? They don't know the other is their rival thief.

Notes: Most of my main characters so far have been female, so I want to switch things up by writing a male for this prompt. Ideally, it'd be a love-square type of deal (Muse A/B has a thing for their rival thief, Muse B/A has a thing for their co-worker). Them finding out about each other's identities doesn't even have to be the end goal, I'm up for it being a mid-story conflict and navigating the fall-out and consequences of that revelation. Maybe even exploring complications that arise when they decide to officially team up as thieves.

⊱ ───── RP Rules & Information ───── ⊰

These are some basic rules. I might add more or change some in the future, but if there’s a significant edit, I’ll make a post about it to let you know.

                                   ⊱ ────── Activity ────── ⊰

1.) Length of time for responses - I’ll always try to answer as soon as I can, but there will be times when I’m unavailable to reply as quickly as I’d like. Real life takes precedence. So please, if I disappear for a day or two, don’t spam me- it gives me anxiety and I’ll only end up procrastinating even more. I’ll get to you at my own pace.

2.) Breaks - If I ever do need to go on a break that lasts for more than two to three weeks, I’ll give you a heads up. Sometimes, it’s just because I’m busy, sometimes I have a bad case of writer’s block. I don’t want to force myself to write and end up sending a terrible response. I want the experience to be fun for both parties, so I hope you’re understanding of this rule ^~^

3.) Your length of time for responses - I’ve had people just randomly abandon rps without telling me anything before, so this is a little crucial. I’ll usually only get concerned if you haven’t replied for at least 2 weeks. If a month passes with no response or explanation for your disappearance, I’ll be forced to drop our rp and unfriend you. If you need an extended break, then all you have to do is tell me and we can shelve the rp. I’ll try to be reliable with replies, so you need to be too.

4.) RP slots - I like long-form responses. This means more effort and time is put into it, so I’ll only be able to juggle a handful of rps at a time. You can check how many rps I'm currently handling in my RP ideas blog. If my rp slots are full, you can still friend me, although it might take a while before I'm able to open another slot. In the meantime, we can just chat or brainstorm ideas we might be interested in exploring in the future ^~^

5.) Discord - Change of rules! I am now open to moving to discord, however, I still prefer to plan things out on here before creating a whole server for the rp. I will still rp on here, but the option to move is there.

6) You add, you talk - Simple as that. I give the same courtesy if I'm the one to friend you first. Even if you can't rp now, I'd like an indication you're willing to plan one in the future, near or distant. I don't like cluttering my friends list with silent accounts.

                                 ⊱ ────── Characters ────── ⊰

1.) Ocs only - I prefer creating unique characters in unique plot lines. It just gives me more creative freedom. Trying to match an existing work and getting it right stresses me out so I don’t like doing them.

2.) Character profiles - I’m open to both creating and sending brief character profiles before we start, or just naturally integrating character descriptions, personality, and backstory through rp.

3.) Faceclaims - I can do both anime and real-life face claims. Just let me know your preferences. I'm fine with just descriptions too.

4.) Character relationships - I’m able to do fxm, fxf, mxm. I usually write for female characters, but I'm open to writing male characters if requested. I also enjoy ensemble ships.

                                  ⊱ ────── Roleplay ────── ⊰

1.) Literate - This is a must. No text talk, asterisks, or one-liners. I’ve got room for grammatical error to an extent (Ex. If English isn’t your first language). I’d at least like to be able to understand what you’re writing.

2.) Response length - I tend to write in multiple paragraphs, but those paragraphs don’t necessarily always have to be five to six sentences long. I’ll always try to match your length so long as it isn’t a one-liner or half a paragraph long.

3.) OOC talk - If you want to talk OOC while rping, I’ll need some kind of marker to let me know it’s OOC. I tend to use ((insert text)), but other markers like [ ], { }, //, etc. are ok too. If we’re not currently engaged in an rp, it isn’t necessary.

4.) Perspective - Writing in the third person is my default, although I can make an adjustment to write in first if requested. I also feel more comfortable writing in the present tense rather than in the past tense.

5.) Not safe for work - I’ll only make an exception to doing this if there’s enough build-up, or if I feel comfortable doing so. I’ll tell you if I’m not, in which case, it has to be a fade-out. Asking for it or being pushy about this rule will get you an easy block.

6.) Roleplay genres - I have a major preference for romance, slice-of-life, and supernatural rps, although a compelling enough plot can definitely sway me in any direction. Romance doesn’t have to be the central plot, but I do like to have it as a subplot.

7) Plotting - PLEASE don't just give me a basic idea and not anything else. Not every plot point and story beat have to be planned out, but I do prefer to have a basic skeleton of how the first few replies will go. Don't just "wing it."

                                  ⊱ ────── Triggers ────── ⊰

1.) I don’t like dwelling too much in misery or angst. Things don’t always have to be all sunshine and rainbows, but if things are constantly dark and depressing, to the point where it's just misery pxrn, then it’s gonna have to be a no for me.

2.) Graphic descriptions of gore, suicide, suicide attempts, self-harm, sexual assault (non-con, dub-con, etc.) and sexual violence. Themes and mentions are fine, but dedicating multiple paragraphs to describing it in detail isn't something I can handle.

3.) I’m pretty comfortable with a lot of things. Just nothing too extreme or potty/edgy humour.

Not really a trigger, but something that should be avoided nonetheless:

1.) Controlling my character without permission. (Ex. Describing my characters reacting/acting in some way in your reply without my input. NPCs are exempt from this rule).

2.) Mary-sues.
