Echo_

This is a character inspired by many comics and superhero/villain themed stories and universes.

This page is pretty WIP, I’ll make it fancy eventually but want to make sure it’s still legible.

Name: Echo Sinclair

Age: 26

Gender: Non-binary

Pronouns: Any are fine, they tend to personally use they/she the most personally but doesn’t mind anything else.

Species: Human

Personality: At first glance Echo is an emotionless robot of a person, they rarely raise their voice and sound almost monotone and generally appear to feel nothing due to their calm behavior. In reality this couldn’t be further from the truth. In reality Echo is an optimistic, friendly (if a bit unsure of themself and awkward sometimes), down to earth person, who feels a whole range of emotions. These emotions just… Don’t really show up on Echo’s face or in their voice. A childhood of being chronically sick from one illness or another made it difficult for them to socialize with anything other than books, their parents or online friends, so Echo never got the chance to fully find themself before they grew up. At first they tried to put on a persona of being loud and peppy but that only lasted a few weeks before they felt uncomfortable and decided to embrace their deadpan way of communicating.

Current Residence: A small apartment above the small cafe they run, this cafe is generally open from 9pm to 5am to serve people who have a similar nocturnal lifestyle. It’s surprisingly successful.

Likes: Bats, stormy weather, being able to meet new people, surreal humor.

Dislikes: Spicy food, being alone for too long, bright lights, people asking them to repeat themself because of their name.

Strengths: Attention to detail, ability to keep a level head in most situations or at least seem calm, an excellent poker face.

Weaknesses: Albinism and the weaknesses that come with that (sensitivity to light, weakened immune system, delicate skin, etc), can come off as just rude or anti social due to their seemingly emotionless persona, a heavy reliance on caffeine.

Other:
-Because of Echo’s albinism they try to be nocturnal, it’s much easier to avoid getting burned when the “giant flaming ball of death and misery” (their words) floating in the sky.

-Echo texts in a manner completely opposite to how they talk, the sheer amount of exclamation marks and emojis makes their messages almost intelligible sometimes.
