Northam is a product of his upbringing, and everybody who knows him would say the same. Contrary to what most would expect from a white man who grew up in an extremely wealthy family, responsibility and hard-work was the focus of his childhood. And being the oldest of six, it is nearly all he knows.

The twenty-one year old attends University, double majors, and is in the top five percent of his class. Despite how well-known he is amongst his majors, his reputation is still fairly negative. To most, Northam's nothing more than a prick, and his cold behavior is reflected in the fact that he has no friends.. only a cover-up, who both use each other to appease their strict families. The only time anybody has seen the man smile is when he is on-stage, performing in front of a crowd, although he was never supposed to major in theatre.

A role-play involving Northam doesn't have to be college themed. He lives at home, anyway.

i consider dark themes to be a roleplay primarily based around something seen as morally wrong, such as murder, gore, masochism, sadism, abduction, physical/emotional abuse, etc.

i consider neutral themes to be psychologically heavy, such as suicide or self-destruction, trauma, mental illness, addiction, etc.

i consider light themes to be excluding those.

if there is a 0 in the dark category, it doesn’t mean that i won’t roleplay a dark theme with him. it just means that he won’t be the reason it’s dark.

i'm only into roleplaying with other male characters, or amab nb. love u girls, but i'm a gay man irl. this being said, i always want an aspect of romance.

i'm open to lots of plots and genres. modern is what i normally prefer, but i do like modern mixes, fantasy (mainly plots based in a dnd-esque world), medieval, and probably others as well.

i have no writing boundaries except i will not do p3do sh*t, obviously. but whatever we do, it needs to belong in the story. i equally enjoy dark and light themes.

if you are strictly no nsfw, we are not compatible. i would want to eventually write their intimate scenes. this must happen /naturally/, of course, but i don't like fading to black. sorry :(
my roleplays are very slow burn, however. takes centuries to get there loll.

i only have male characters, with the exception of side characters. the majority are asian. if you cannot understand that asian or korean doesn't equal kpop then don't bother. regardless of race each of my characters have a lot of work put into them.

i leave out most of their backstories or major events in their bios as i like to keep them relatively mysterious. these events surely exist, but i prefer for my roleplay partner to discover them along with their character. none of my characters are winged and they all have distinct backstories and personalities, despite how many i have. i've had them for /years/.

their place of residence can be changed to accommodate the roleplay, idrc ab that lol. other small things too, but never their personality.

i only do third person and past tense. my reply length can change dramatically depending on the situation, but i'm usually around 700-1000 words per reply (2-3 pages).

if you tend to not write a whole lot, we are not compatible.

i write with a lot of interior monologue. almost all people i've written with on this site do the same. i need more than just describing what your character is physically doing :)

Northam’s birth was the most definite pinnacle of his parents’ lives; a heavy sigh of relief, as if they couldn’t take their first born to be but male. And how ready for him they were. Consciously knowing that their future relied on his every decision, as his life was stuck to courtesy, he was lead a childhood of aggressiveness to be the best, to come home everyday and meet the eyes of expectation. He was the machine, and his family’s long history of hunger for social adequate was the fuel, driving him, pushing him to make sure he was not lower than anybody else, and that he would do his name well. He must be who he needed to be, who his family needed him to be, and anything else that went against the stapled customs and ideals pinpointed in his mind, and what felt like his very essence, was selfish, and he always made his best effort to frown upon anything else that went against what must be his morals. So, with his thoughts shakily put in their place, holding up a weary castle of driving effort, his life was decided for him. He would take charge of the family business, and bring his near deceased father peace (all his hard work knowing it would prosper in the hands of his offspring), before his passing. His emotions and dreams were shoved behind a forgotten wall in the farback of his mind, not yet showing a crack or budge, its cement hardened by his integrity that was engraved into his mind the many years he’s lived.
