How it started and how it's going.

Sorority Boys, 2002

Partying, f***ing, bullying, Adam was an a**hole. On the social committee for his frat house, Adam threw all the best parties, invited only the hottest girls, and sent them out the door on the walk of shame in the morning. Framed for theft of a large sum of money, in a university of spoiled rich kids, Adam with friends Dave and Doofer inexplicably decide the only solution is to find video proof of their innocence, as filmed on Adam's motion activated recording setup. By dressing as women and infiltrating a party. As you do.

Unfortunately for Adam, living as Adina for an extended time was a rough journey, with no small amount of trauma and self-esteem issues. Through longwinded and convoluted events, the group prove their innocence, and are said to have grown as people.

Adam is dead. Long live Adina.

Promoted to president of the frat house, it should have been all Adam wanted. It wasn't, and after some confronting introspection, it became pretty clear why. So, Adina packed up her bags, and transferred university. She's studying pharmacology, and in a new city where nobody knows her she can start anew, and really live as herself, even if she's given to bouts of dysphoria and self-consciousness as she figures out just what that means. She might not be the arrogant party animal she'd once been, but Adina is finally looking forward, and exploring parts of herself she'd long since buried.

Adina is pre-HRT, taking things one step at a time. She loves football, fashion, and won't hesitate to backhand a mf. Her sexuality is in flux, and she appreciates people who treat her like a lady.

The Rulebook

Approach: I prefer out of character, but whatever you're comfortable with

Writing style: Paragraph, please. Maybe it's just a couple sentences, as long as it isn't script.

Third person perspective

No drama, cliques, or nonsense: This means no bigotry, no slurs, no meanness. I'm here to write and be inclusive.

Timezones: Author is in GMT+10, which is a pain in the butt and we all have to live with that.

Source material: Don't watch Adina's if you don't want to get very mad. I definitely did. The movie is a product of its time, and I'm not sure it was okay then either. This iteration of her is trying to move on from that and have a genuine journey.
