After being done answering Cyno's questions, he is finally able to leave the palace and return home. Just to find it completely empty.
He stays there for a few hours, but as he realises that Blade is not coming back, he gets even more bitter. He can't help but feel as if Blade and Haitien forced this threesome on him and then expected him to be the only one supposed to make it work for everyone. And he is only feeling frustrated and more bitter.

He goes to grab his things, that up to this day are still contained in a single backpack that he uses instead of a closet, and leaves the house, not intentioned to head back.
Haitien went to his mother, Blade went to his father and WonPil goes to his… bottle. He doesn't have any family that he knows of and now that he thinks of it, all of his "friends" he doesn't even know where they live. He is starting to wonder if there is even a single real friend he has.

With the few savings he has left, he goes to the cheapest and sh*ttiest tavern to buy himself whatever alcohol he can find, be it for drinking or cleaning purposes.

He doesn't return home, after the argument, even many hours later. He feels more and more frustrated as episodes like this repeat. He feels that it's simply impossible for him and HaiTien to tag along, that their personalities are just too incompatible.

Being lost in his thoughts, he ends up walking out of the gates during the guards' shift and by the time he decides to head back, he finds that the gates of the city have been closed. He tries to call for the guards to open, but he made some enemies among them and they pretend not to hear him.
Not knowing what to do, he starts to walk around the perimeter of the walls, until he notices a strange man in the darkness.

Suspicious, he decides to see what that mysterious man is up to and follows him. The other seems to be heading to the river.
Soon enough, he notices that there is someone else: Shin. Before he could even react, the mysterious man shoots a series of darts at the kitsune, through a crossbow.
«YAH!!» he shouts at the top of his lungs and rushes towards the man like a fury, but the attacker, after sending him a glance, simply teleports away before WonPil could reach him.

Shin, meanwhile, fell on his knees, slowly removing the darts from his chest, as it's a very painful procedure.
After realising that there is nothing he can do to find the man, WonPil approaches Shin to try to help him. «Are you ok? Can you cure it? I think… I think you must go to the hospital… be seen by the other doctors…» WonPil is shaking from how nervous he is at the moment.
«No… I will be fine… I will heal…»
«But still… we must go back into the city, we must or that man could attack again… this place is too exposed…» He looks around, trying to keep his guard high.
Shin slowly stands up, but he feels dizzy. The darts were poisoned, but that's far from enough to kill a direct son of Jeisin. Although it could have killed any other kitsune, even more powerful than him.

WonPil collects the darts and supports Shin to get back, but since he thinks the guards won't open even now, he supports Shin to go to the other side of the palace, instead, the side of the walls that are adjacent to the outside of the city, basically.

Case wants that Zhongli and Chan aren't the only ones who left Guyun at the same time: Cyno brought the children to Shuguang so that WooPil could meet his granny, Ziqun had to visit Zae for some work matters and even Jing Yuan and LianSul aren't in the city, since they are dealing with a bothersome trouble along the commercial routes.

Not long after Blade and WonPil had dinner, WonPil decides to go out for a walk, since he is feeling restless and unable to go to sleep yet. *Blade could have come with him or not, up to him.
While strolling in the streets, he notices that there starts to be a lot of fuss and decides to approach the gates to try to hear what's going on. He sees the guards that are literally going crazy out of something they saw approaching the city.
«SEAL THE GATES, IMMEDIATELY!» shouts an officer.
«WAIT!» shouts WonPil , approaching the guards. «There are still people outside the walls, Shin and some of his people went out, I saw them! You can't close the gates!»
«If we don't deal the gates, there won't be anyone alive!» roars the officer, pushing WonPil aside.

He curses and runs up the stairs that lead on top of the walls to see what's going on and he sees them. Horrific creatures that look like extremely mutated, enlarged, undead fishes. Thousands of them moving quickly towards the city, some even on an erect posture. Not just the look scary and their stench alone is enough to daze, but it's clear as day that they bear the plague.

WonPil is not the only one who got alerted by the chaos, SulBang appears on the walls shortly after, quickly covering his nose with the sleeve of his robe.

WonPil accidentally caused a catastrophic mess with his powers, after one of the usual incidents caused by the curse. He ended up damaging many buildings with an outburst of fiery energy, which also resulted in tens of people in the area to get hurt, some even seriously.

WonPil quickly ran away after realising what he did and now nobody knows where he is.
And guards are looking for him everywhere, since there were many witnesses that saw that it was him to cause all that.

While children and classy people are inside, the animals are in the garden to roast meat.
But WonPil is actually wrestling with a bear nimox for fun and losing miserably at it. Though, he is having fun. He managed to befriend almost all of the nimox of Arcanis, thanks to his chill and easygoing attitude.
