John Chen is an American multi-millionaire, who lives in a town named Oakheart. During his teenage years, he became a thief, after his parents divorced and his mother was indebted. He used the money he stole to repay the debts, but it became a habit and he continued stealing until he became the most successful thief in town. One day he was betrayed and shot by his own comrades, as he became the most wanted thief and was considered a threat. He was also disowned by his mother, once she got to know about him becoming a thief.

He was rescued by a group of scientists. The scientists performed a cross-breeding experiment on him, by combining his DNA with the DNA of a cat. Thus, saving his life and giving him cat-like abilities. He then used his Cat like abilities to get revenge on his former allies and became a vigilante known as Captain Feline in the process. He used his wealth to create a suit of armor from Kevlar fabric, which is a waterproof, fireproof, and bulletproof fabric. He also designed his own electric taser staff and a pair of Katana Swords, which he uses during the battle, along with a cowl that covers his entire face.

Since that day, John tirelessly served to protect the innocents, and eliminate the guilty. He has been a thorn in the side of all criminals in his town. And has helped the city become a safer and more peaceful place for the citizens. He lives in a mansion all alone with a housekeeper, who is like a big sister to him and she takes good care of him and the guests who arrive at the mansion.
