ROLE:

******************************************************************************
From an early age in her hometown in Southern France, Alexis “Lexi” Devereaux was a tomboy. She enjoyed playing soccer against boys in her neighborhood and took special pleasure in embarrassing the ones who thought “girls shouldn’t play soccer.”

When Lexi was in her early teens, her father allowed her to begin working in the family’s pyrotechnics display business. It was here that Lexi developed her love of things that go ‘BOOM’.

When Lexi turned 18, she joined The French Army and volunteered for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) training. In her first deployment to Central Africa, she would go on to disarm dozens of unexploded landmines. Some of the mines were from the most recent “civil” unrest in the area. Some of them were from a few regimes back. Lexi took comfort in knowing that civilians - despite the many dangers around them - didn’t have quite so many mines to worry about.

Over the next two years, she would deploy to Afghanistan where she would sometimes be called to several dozen suspected IED sites per day. Her incredible ability to detect the bombs no matter where they were buried earned her the nickname “Chasseresse” (“Huntress”) among her fellow troops.

After three years in the regular army, Lexi volunteered for Special Forces selection (which had recently opened to women). After making it through selection, Lexi was assigned to the 1st Marine Infantry Paratroopers Regiment.

As part of the Regiment, Lexi was assigned to a number of high-risk missions, many of which are still highly classified. Although Lexi enjoyed serving her country, the sexism and intolerance of those around her led her not to re-enlist in the Army. Lexi officially left the military in the late 2010s.

After leaving the military, Lexi joined a couple of Non-Governmental Organizations dedicated to finding and disarming landmines and IEDs before being hired by Private Defense Firm Grey Sword International.

***************************************************************************************************
Cole “Doc” Barnes was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Growing up in a wealthy family, Doc spent much of his life living off of his family’s money while not seeming to aspire for much in his own life.

When he turned 18, his parents presented him with a non-negotiable ultimatum: either Cole do something with his life (get a job or go to college) or he would be cut out of his parents’ wills. Motivated more by spite than patriotism, Cole joined the Army. After completing Recruit Training, Cole went to Individual Speciality Training to become a Field Medic. It was through the bonds that he made with other soldiers during Recruit Training and the Advanced Combat Life Saving (CLS-A) course that Cole’s personality changed and he learned the importance of camaraderie and teamwork. Cole distinguished himself as a Combat Medic through multiple tours in Afghanistan, one of which saw his platoon cross paths with soldiers of the elite Special Air Service Regiment (SASR). Determined to be amongst the very best soldiers he could be, he volunteered for the year-long selection process for the SASR. Serving in the army was no longer about proving something to his parents, Cole found in it purpose he had never had before.

Just before he was set to re-enlist, Doc received word that his parents had been killed in a plane crash. This devastated him and shook him to his core. After officially separating from the Army, the first thing Cole did with his inheritance was lay his family to rest. He then left Australia, relocated to America and now works for Private Defense Contracting Firm Grey Sword International.

HAIR COLOR:
Reddish Brown / Grey

EYE COLOR:
Blue

BODY BUILD:

MILITARY / INTELLIGENCE / LAW ENFORCEMENT EXPERIENCE (IF ANY):
British Army
1st Battalion, Parachute Regiment
A Squadron, 22nd Special Air Service Regiment

ROLE:
Designated Marksman
*******************************************************************************
Originally born in South London, England, Gordon Wolfe spent his holidays rifle hunting with his grandfather (a former Royal Marine Commando). It was this experience that influenced Gordon to join the Army when he turned 18.

After graduating Basic Training, he volunteered for the elite Parachute Regiment. In between deployments as part of various multinational peacekeeping forces, Wolfe underwent training as a sniper and got married.

After a decade in the Army, Wolfe volunteered for selection into the elite Special Air Service (S.A.S.). As a special operations sniper, Wolfe was often tasked with long range reconnaissance, eliminating high value targets and providing sniper cover for friendly units.

After more than a decade with the S.A.S., Wolfe was put in charge of a six-man HK (Hunter Killer) team. In the early 2010s, while on a deployment to Eastern Afghanistan near the Pakistani border, Wolfe’s team was assigned to provide security for a group of Civilian Engineers building a Girls School. A few days into their assignment, a group of local militants approached the site and threatened to kill both the workers and Wolfe’s team if they didn’t stop what they were doing. Wolfe in turn assured the commander that if he or any of his men came back to the school with violent intent, they would be killed. Looking into Gordon’s piercing blue eyes, the commander knew that it wasn’t a threat, but a promise. A few days later, the site of the school was attacked with mortars and gunmen hiding in the surrounding hills. For three consecutive days (and with the assistance of resupply helicopters) Wolfe’s team fought and held off the militants. As the team was being extracted, Wolfe sustained head trauma by shrapnel. Returning to England, Wolfe was awarded various commendations and was medically discharged from the army. Once he recovered from his injuries, he began working for Private Defense Firm Grey Sword International.
