*******************************************************************************
Born and raised in South Carolina, Freya Gunn had a fairly normal childhood. On the weekends, she would partake in regular Southern pastimes like hunting, recreational shooting and fishing just to name a few.

She was quite young when the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attacks occured, and from then on, Freya devoted herself to joining the U.S. military as soon as she could. In the late 2000s, after graduating from high school, she enlisted in the U.S. Army.

Since women were not permitted to be assigned to frontline combat units at that time, Freya was assigned to a Motor Transport unit where she was often tasked with security.

She didn’t have to wait long for her chance to serve on the frontline when U.S. Special Operations Command began training and deploying Cultural Support Teams - specially selected and trained female soldiers who were attached to Infantry and Special Operations units to question and search women and children in terrains when it wasn’t culturally accepted for such tasks to be undertaken by male personnel.

As part of her training, Freya learned a number of languages as well as special operations warfighting tactics. In her time with the C.S.T., Freya would deploy to Iraq, Afghanistan, South America, Africa and Southeast Asia in support of SOCOM missions. In her time in the Army, Freya would earn two Purple Hearts and a Silver Star for valor.

One of the Purple Hearts and The Silver Star came from her participation in an operation targeting Taliban strongholds and key personnel in Eastern Afghanistan along the border with Pakistan, where she was attached to a Green Beret team working with Afghan Special Forces. The unit came under fire in a massive ambush, which claimed the lives of many of the Afghans. In the ensuing firefight - which would last several hours - Freya managed to take control of an enemy mounted machine gun, using it to thin out the remaining hostiles. From her position, Gunn, then a Sergeant, was completely exposed to enemy small arms and RPG fire.

At some point, she was thrown from the technical by an RPG detonating nearby which hit her with a number of pieces of shrapnel before knocking her to the ground. The shrapnel injured some of the nerves in her left arm, limiting her ability to use the limb. She was flown to a U.S. military hospital in Germany and received both commendations, as well as a promotion to Staff Sergeant and a medical discharge.

Upon returning to the United States, Freya worked diligently to regain as much use of her arm as possible. She began getting tattoos to cover up her scars and would often visit local gyms and gun ranges to maintain her fitness and skills.

After more than a year, Freya Gunn was in almost as good of a shape as she had been before she had gotten hurt. Seeing as how she wouldn’t likely be able to re-enlist in the Army, however, she instead decided to put her skills to work for multinational PMC Grey Sword international.

*******************************************************************************
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Omari “Quickie” Carter had always had a talent: speed. From racing against other kids in his neighborhood to running track and playing football in high school, Omari always loved being the fastest person around. His athletic ability had gotten him multiple athletic scholarship offers. The summer just before his Senior Year, Omari was involved in a car accident in which his leg was broken in several places, preventing him from participating in any athletics. After going through a grueling physical rehabilitation process over the course of his Senior Year, Omari was able to walk across the stage to accept his High School Diploma without any assistance. As he didn’t compete in any sports his Senior Year, the various scholarship offers had been withdrawn. Since Omari’s grades weren’t quite high enough for an academic scholarship and his parents couldn’t afford to pay for his tuition, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, hoping to make use of Government benefits.

Over the course of multiple deployments to Afghanistan, he’d developed quite a knack for being a warfighter. Over his military career, however, the incompetence and negligence of some of his superiors had led to some of his friends being killed or wounded, disillusioning him to serving in the U.S. military. Despite the reassurances he offered to his parents on multiple occasions, Quickie had lost his interest in college.

Once he completed his time in the Army, Omari began working for PMC Grey Sword International.

Pavel "Ace" Morzodrenko

NAME:
Pavel “Ace” Morzodrenko (Portrayed by Aaron Taylor-Johnson)

AGE:
Early 30s

NATIONALITY:
Russian

HEIGHT:
5’11”

HAIR COLOR:
Brown

EYE COLOR:
Blue

BODY BUILD:
Athletic

DISTINGUISHING PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES (SCARS, TATTOOS, ETC.):
Gunshot Wound (Left Shoulder)

MILITARY / INTELLIGENCE / LAW ENFORCEMENT EXPERIENCE (IF ANY):
Russian Airborne Forces
45th Guards Spetsnaz Brigade
Spetsnaz Alpha Group

ROLE:
Communications
*******************************************************************************
The oldest of two children born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, Pavel “Ace” Morzodrenko grew up with three interests: language, music and technology. When Pavel was in his teens, he began working in his father’s computer shop. Somewhere in that time, he got into hacking. At first, it was little things like changing schoolmates' grades for money. But, just after Pavel turned 18, he got into serious trouble for hacking into the financial records and assets of a company that his father performed I.T. services for after the company refused to pay what they owe, which would have been a financial hit that the company couldn’t recover from. Pavel was facing serious charges for his crimes, until an agent of the GRU (one of Russia’s largest intelligence agencies) intervened on his behalf. The agent was impressed by Pavel’s technical skills and convinced him that exceptional service to his country would see all the charges against him dropped. Though Pavel displayed more than enough intellect to justify remaining in the GRU’s Cyber Warfare Unit, he wanted to serve on the front lines. Over Pavel’s career, he and his team were deployed to various places around the world for missions of asset recovery or destruction, disinformation, kill/capture, etc. This came to an end in the late 2010s while his team was on a covert operation in Northern Africa when they refused to kill civilians who had seen their faces. For their “insubordination” the team was strafed by a Russian fighter jet’s machine guns. Being the only survivor, Ace wandered alone for a while until he was picked up by a U.S. Special Forces unit investigating the air strike. He surrendered to them and divulged information that he had about a number of Russian black ops around the world in exchange for American citizenship and a new life.
