My name is Alex Jones. I was born in the year 1996 and I lost both parents when I was a baby. I had an extremely rough start to life, passed from post to pillar for the first 15 years, then I ended up homeless. I was on the street until the age of 17, where I met a lad named Jack. We became such great friends and it turned out, we had the same backgrounds and we became brothers.

There was something so different about him and I couldn't initially put my finger on it, but it turned out, he knew about aliens....yes, I said aliens. I too knew about them, as soon as those shop window dummies came to life. Then followed many other threats. Jack was actually an independent alien investigator who saved the world on a regular basis under the noses of the governments and organisations such as UNIT and Torchwood (I learned of those in more recent days).

A robot came to earth, it was a Stealth Robot....seriously, a robot that is, well, stealth. It is exactly as it says on the tin. Anyway, after I thought I lost everything, it turned out I was wrong again. It killed Jack right in front of me, it then looked at me and took of. It was damaged, yet it didn't care. It was like it looked right into the heart of me.

That day, I changed and that day I swore to protect the earth in Jacks name and honour. Yet, I still don't feel like I could do it. Thankfully, I hadn't needed to just yet, as alien activity seemed pretty non existent for a while now.

#1 - I roleplay in first person. I find it easiest for me.
#2 - Don't be inpatient for replies, I will get to you when I can. Most of the time it's fast replies.
#3 - Please write more than a couple of sentences.
#4 - Please use proper English and descriptive dialogue when we roleplay.
#5 - I am a selective adder, specifically from the Whoniverse.
#6 - Have respect and don't start hurling abuse. (I have had this before.)
#7 - Please do not start a roleplay and then stop replying to me, either do or don't. (Unfortunately, I have had this quite a lot recently.)
#8 - I do chat in OOC, but please specify when you do as it sets it apart from the roleplay.
#9 - Yes, I do use the same starter a lot for the time, I am fairly rusty with them at the moment, so until I can get back into starter mode, that is how it will stay - please try to understand that.

Ok, so. Jack - before he died - told me to keep a record of aliens that I have encountered as it could come in handy one day, plus it could be rather fun to look back on when I am old and grey. I will keep a hard copy for myself and the virtual version here, I will just list them. Must find a big enough diary!
