Nikolai grew up in a bad home, his parents where bad people that used cult teachings to excuse how they treated him and his two siblings. Nicky's father owned a record shop and it was the only thing that he could remember somewhat fondly, sitting in front of the old TV box and watching horror movies while his father worked the counter. He was starved often, eventually devolving into cutting himself up to eat the raw bits of meat. He often vomited these up in the begging but soon adjusted to it, his own body fat sating him until his parents and siblings died in a car crash, leaving the record shop and family home to himself.
He easily picked up killing, craving the comforting taste of flesh but not having enough to spare, his first victim was a scrawny teen, barely younger then him. Nicky learned how to crush the bones for calcium powder and tosses the hair into places he knows the birds get nesting material. Otherwise he eats the body and uses the rest for fertilizer.
He learned how to get into parties and often crashes on peoples couches despite having his own home, the loud music and the drunken environment blasting him into a mock sense of normalcy. He finds a lot of his victims there, usually shy teenagers who don't stand a chance.

The fog took him while he was in a holding cell, convicted of public indecency. The fog provides his medication but only if he does well in trials, the survivors often fearing the next encounter with the killer if they escaped the last time, knowing he spirals into a rabid dog otherwise.
ㅤㅤPERSONALITY
Nicky is a very charismatic person generally, he laughs and smiles, he's quite flirtatious and its hard to tell if this is a defense mechanism or he genuinely likes a person, though many guess its the first option. However he can also spiral into horrid bouts of hysteria, he can push people away and be cold or cruel, though these episodes seem to pass after a long nap or by someone trusted calming him down.

He respects the fact Ghost doesn’t want that but it doesn’t stop him from indulging in the thoughts as he feds himself his down skin. If Danny is not careful he may end up with a sickly pup at his heels, begging for any morsel of attention tossed his way.
He was starved as a child after all, Nikolai knows how to survive off scraps.
