Body: Lean, but not built. On his back there are two silver slits that run the edge of his shoulder blades. They appear like scars, but they are the sheaths his wings emerge from. When fully extended, they are about 8 feet wide, and a brilliant white color. Along his spine, there is a line of holy insignias emblazoned onto his skin, each a symbol of one of the holy foundations - love, devotion, faith, etc.

Flaws: His greatest flaw is his trust in others, he often sees the purer side of people and tends to disregard their capacities for evil.
Bio:
Matthew adopted a vessel to live among humans, to study and care for them from up close. While the angel had shielded the human world with his unconditional love for many centuries, he now wished to live among them, to explore the pleasures of the flesh and the physical world. He sought the human experience and wished to understand the complexities of humans themselves - how they loved, how they hurt, how they chose to sin. Matthew was the first of the angels to live among humans, but others followed, inhabiting the city alongside him. Initially, this was supposed to be a brief experiment, a mere dabbling of experience in the human world, but the attraction of humans and their sins pulled Matthew to stay longer. What had meant to be days would surely turn into months, perhaps years. The angel wanted a taste but found himself addicted to the thrills of being human and to have a choice - to choose whether to sin or move on. As an Archangel, Matthew was accustomed to following God’s divine word, but on Earth, he had the freedom of his own will. What he had never expected to encounter were the demons that inhabited the Earth’s surface, the innovators and drivers of human sin. The angel was a beacon of purity, just waiting - begging - to be broken.

1. I only roleplay with people who are 18+. Please do not add me if you are younger than 18. I often roleplay with darker/mature themes that I am not comfortable roleplaying with a minor.
2. I am a multi para-novella writer and am most engaged when writing long responses, in the 500 - 2,000 word range. I will try to match your response length but generally expect at least two decent paragraphs. I will not respond to one-liners.
3. Respond with creative and literate writing. I would rather wait for a detailed and thought out response than receive a badly-written one.
4. I roleplay in third person only.
5. Please message me with plot ideas beforehand. I would like for us to create something we are both interested in and would love to discuss any ideas you may have about world-building, character, plot, etc.
6. N/S/F/W is welcome, as long as it is part of the plot and not the sole focus. I would like ample build-up to any N/S/F/W scenes.
7. I am usually open to roleplaying an array of dark/mature themes. However, if I feel uncomfortable, I will tell you. I do provide trigger warnings for sensitive topics.
8. Please tell me if you are bored or uninspired by our roleplay. I am more than happy to discuss any changes or begin a different roleplay. Vanishing without a trace will result in unadding. I don't mind waiting for responses, but do let me know if you are planning on taking a break from writing for an extended period of time.
9. Real life always comes before writing, so please forgive me if I'm slow with replies. I will usually tell you if I'm going to be especially busy that day. If I haven't replied to you in a while, just send me a little reminder message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
